Located on a main street- very noisy traffic and the trains are insane. Not only are they extremely loud but the whole apartment shakes when a train comes through. We actually ended up leaving our stay early due to this and the cleanliness of the place. Located above an abandoned/empty store front? Not at all relaxing or getaway vibes. We contacted the host about our concerns and a possible refund, she said she would send a cleaning fee refund and we never received anything. Would not recommend this place or stay here again.

We had a great time here with our granddaughters. It was very accommodating. We spent a lot of time together and at the beach. Everything was close by. Stores, restaurants and the beach.Thank you Renee

Good place to stay!

Great place, very clean, the outside was very wet since it rained so we couldn't use the outside areas but it was overall a very nice and cozy place.

Mini retreat

The VRBO was in a very convenient location for my activities. It was clean, quiet, comfy, & had a well stocked kitchen with dishes, utensils, & pots & pans since I enjoy cooking my own meals.

Road Trip Respite

Not sure if I’ll ever be back in Michigan City, IN, but if I am, I’ll absolutely be staying here again! Super cute unit, very comfortable and homey. A couple of local breweries and a cabinet full of board games kept us busy for our evening stay after a long day of driving!

Cute place to stay

2 of my close friend and I decided to get away for a short stay not too far from home. We had a great relaxing time. This place had everything we needed, short distance from everything. This place was clean and easy to find. The neighborhood felt safe. Even though the place below this apartment looks abandoned.

Indy Girls' Trip

Four of us from childhood get together every summer for a two night stay at a drivable location. This year we picked Michigan City and stayed at the Treehouse! We had a fun time. We needed two bedrooms and the living area was spacious. We had a fun time in Michigan City.

Perfect winter weekend getaway!

This property offers the three Cs -comfort, cleanliness and convenience! The tasteful decor, along with all the necessities for a family getaway made our weekend memorable. Our host, Renee’ was accessible our entire stay and the property was spotless. The convenience of being centrally located to restaurants, shopping and the lake are definitely a plus. Off street parking is another plus. We can’t wait to return during peak season. Thanks for great accommodations, Marlena

Annual Girls Trip

Had a great time. Property was clean and nicely decorated. One concern would be the street noise and the nearby train noise. If you’re a light sleeper you might want to bring earplugs. Great communication with property owner.

One night after hiking the Dunes

We just needed one night to recover from our day at Indiana Dunes before we headed out of town. It was a great spot. The decor is so cute. Beds were comfortable. Everything worked just fine. We had a little trouble with the key code on the door when we checked in, but the host was VERY responsive and quick. Hardly a moment of delay accessing the property.
