Positief: Netheid, voorzieningen en staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten
I could not have been happier with my week-long stay at Casa Cleo. It hit all the high notes in nearly every way possible:
– It's a converted mansion in the Condesa neighborhood –- a beautiful, verdant, safe, and well located part of the city with lots of good restaurants nearby.
– My room (suite, actually) was spacious, modern, immaculate, and well appointed with a full kitchen, a nice sofa and seating area, a huge bathroom including two large sinks, a shower AND a tub, which was huge (and deep!) and provided restful respite after days of exploring wonderful Mexico City. Importantly, the beds were extremely comfortable.
– Adjustable heat / AC!
– But in my opinion, the thing that sets Casa Cleo apart was the most amazing staff. They were all helpful and welcoming at every turn. Diego especially, was so nice and took the time to give us his personal restaurant recommendations and activity suggestions. Everything he suggested was a huge hit, and he really elevated our experience. Casa Cleo is lucky to have him. We didn't see Daniel as much, but he was great, too.
– Considering how nice Casa Cleo is, it was a terrific bargain.
– Given all the positives, the one area in which I thought the hotel could do better was breakfast. They do have a complementary breakfast, but it's quite minimal. There is coffee and tea, a fresh berry cup with yogurt or granola, and some type of small sweet roll.
I'd stay there again in a minute. Thank you, Casa Cleo. Highly recommended!
