'We visited Le Clos de Venise 4 years ago and decided to come this year back to celebrate our wedding anniversary as we love the place and its gracious and kind hostesses Francine and Claude. It felt like coming home again. We can warmly recommend the accommodation to anyone. Despite the ongoing struggle with Covid and its variants, we knew we would feel safe here as it is away from the main village road and therefore away from people but not too far so you still feel like part of the community:...

'This was the most cosy and well equipped house we ever stayed in! So much care was taken to ensure we had everything we needed! Very tastefully renovated in a quiet little hamlet, near many, very beautiful places! We visited lots of them: castles of Ussé, Chinon, Azay, l'Islette, a true gem! A week wasn't long enough! We were only with the 2 of us but if you come with more people, take note that there is only one bedroom with a door and that you have to pass the (very beautiful) open space with...

'Place was excellent, great for a cycling trip with work mates. Slight issue when we turned up, but Giles sorted out straight away. Place was great five stars all over. The only thing that was annoying was the flies. Thousands of them. We went out and bought about ten fly strips which when we put up had hundreds of flies on them. Rooms were excellent, massive fire place which was great. Hot water always there and a great swimming pool. It was a bit damp and musky in the downstairs bedrooms....

'We have had such a wonderful stay in this cosy and well equipped cabin. Although it's small everything you could possibly need was there. It was super clean and comfortable and set in the most beautiful garden. The bathroom/shower were excellent and the bed felt very snug behind its curtains. The air-conditioning was also much appreciated. We were able to walk easily into Amboise in around 10 minutes. The vires for he deck is lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside in the peaceful...

'The house was beautifully decorated and very comfortable for a family. Everything was provided for our stay. We enjoyed the tasty daily breakfasts. Our hostess, Marie-Céline was very helpful with suggestions to tour the area. She made us feel welcome using the grounds. We would highly recommend this special house.'

Julie et Gregory Sont très chaleureux, le logement est très propre et joliment décoré, le jardin est superbe et la vue magnifique (orienté ouest, surplombant la Loire). 'On a main road but set well back so nice and quiet for sleeping. Good sized bathroom and kitchen with quality appliances, fast wifi, comfortable bed, pleasant patio.The only item that we might have liked is a more ergonomic living room couch but that's a very minor issue. Denis is most welcoming host, we especially appreciated the coffee and other break items he provided.'
