Very nice being right in the marina with a restaurant. Environment was great and the restaurant is within walking distance which was a major plus. Lovely 2 story townhouse close to the beach and the river which was great for kayaking. Would recommend and hope to stay there again!
This was great for a quick stay before our cruise. After a long day of driving the on site restaurant was very welcome. The unit was clean and comfortable.
Stayed in a 3 bedroom townhouse for a full week with 3 adults and two teenagers. The bedroom layouts were perfect with the kids taking the room with two singles and adults getting the larger rooms. The kitchen was well stocked with basic appliances (coffee machine and toaster) and basic cookware and utensils.
The places was clean and well decorated.
Washer and dryer in unit was super convenient.
The clubhouse and pool were awesome. We made use of the pool, jacuzzi, weight room, sauna and poolside games.
Didnât get a chance to visit Dolphins restaurant. Honestly the prices and mediocre reviews deterred us.
The only downside is the resort gets a little rowdier on the weekends. Our last night (a Friday) the people in the unit next to us partied with loud music and on their back porch until 5am! None of us slept that night.
The place was wonderful - we had our family there. The only challenge we had was there were not enough bowls in the kitchen for mixing things together. Other than that, the beach/pier was only like a quick 10 min drive, and Orlando 1 hr away. Real convenience. The view from our deck was the marina - really nice for morning coffee/tea. Enjoy our stay - will want to come again.
The townhouse was clean, nicely decorated, and well equipped. The beds were comfortable as was living within the floor plan. Convenient location to Kennedy Space Center, Cocoa Village, Beaches, and my favorite, the Brevard Zoo.
Great place to stay near Kennedy Space Center & Cocoa Beach
Both the property and the unit were clean and beautiful. We loved that you can rent fishing poles, kayaks and boats right there. The on site restaurant Dolphins was convenient and the food was really good.
First day staying at the hotel and I had sheriff come search my family at are place with no reason for them to have to ask us to be searched . Very upset after I allready had to send a request to get accepted to this town homes rental and provided them with all the information they need it .
The townhome was beautiful. A lot of space for a family of 8. We stayed on Merrit Island because extended family was staying at the condo our family owns on Cape Canaveral.
We had problems with our air conditioner and went without for 3.5 days. Temps were in the 90âs đ„” This made the first part of our stay very stressful. We had a lot of gear and two babies under 2 years old. We were offered a condo overlooking the marina on day 3 however it really wasnât suitable for our family so we stuck it out. Communication with/from management was good but I didnât feel like I was on vacation, I was managing our situation.
The floors in our condo were filthy. We had to wash our feet before getting into bed. They were absolutely black. I was told it was from body oils absorbing dust/dirt from the tiles. đ They just werenât cleaned appropriately. Staff came to clean our floors but again, I felt like I was managing the management instead of vacationing.
We stayed quickly overnight. Property is clean. They do not tell you on Vrbo that you have to check in at the clubhouse for keys and late check out is not an option until check in.
We were in town for a Military retirement, the staff went out of their way to help us get the room ready as we arrived earlier then expected. Staff was friendly and understanding, location was great. Town house had everything you would need in it.
The unit was clean and well maintained. However, the resort is located next to major highways and the beach is not near the resort. The picture of the pool is for the community pool. If you are a runner, there are no scenic routes or ability to run along the beach. The beach is at least 15 to 20 minutes away and trying to get to the highway is a bit of a challenge. Getting to and from Orlando is real easy.
We reserved the property over a year ago. As the time got closer I asked some questions (via VRBO) that I didnât receive a response to. Not a huge deal, but would not have brought our bikes with us knowing now that itâs not really a lot of places to bike. Also disappointed that our unit backed up to a loud highway and flashing sign through the window. Seems like those units would be better for someone not staying an entire month, but more shorter stays. But, the property is immaculate and decorated nicely. Pool area is nice though the heater was broken, but by the end of our stay it was so warm it wasnât a big issue for me.
Overall an A-!! Renting again next year and am far more knowledgeable on these minor nits.
Enjoyed the wine and cheese get together that management hosted. Really demonstrated their care of their guest.
