'First, El Guayacán is NOT located in Granada. It is in Valle de la Laguna, about 30 minutes outside Granada. This misleading location information disrupted our itinerary and travel plans. We booked a 3-night stay, but the experience fell far short of expectations, especially given the price per night: Wi-Fi: Virtually nonexistent / unreliable. A/C: Did not function properly, leaving the room uncomfortable. Pool: Water was visibly dirty (clearly not treated properly). Essentially, you are...

'Muy bueno el hostal'

'We didn’t use the pool; however, the gentleman at the front desk in the mornings spoke good English and he was able to help us get our clothes washed and dried for a fee which was most helpful. The two ladies who greeted us when we arrived in the afternoon were very friendly and welcoming. The housekeeper did an excellent job at keeping the room clean. It was very walkable to a bank, restaurants and the park. We would definitely stay here again.'

'This is an excellent place to stay while visiting the Laguna de Apoyo. Location is rustic and beautiful. Food is excellent. Staff is incredible. They arranged transportation which was a plus. You can order things, meals, to your room and pay an itemized bill with your card at check out. I can't say enough about the place.'

'Getting to the place can be a bit tricky; the team was absolutely amazing and kind. I can't say enough great things about Eric and Francisco. I connected with Juan Carlos and was very kind and helpful. The views are breathtaking. The venue and rooms are accurately depicted and reflection of Nicaragua's essence. Breakfast was yummy! I totally recommend visiting.'

'Our stay in the property was amazing, spectacular views and delicious food!!!'

'This self-acclaimed hotel closed a year ago in a totally run-down state. Some four months ago it was bought by a new (US citizen) owner who is trying to rebuild the place. Currently there is one room that looks quite okay, however there is no reception, no personnel apart from a local housekeeper. The problem starts with the entrance. When we arrived on December 14 around noon, the gate was closed, while there is no name sign nor anything else that indicates the existence of a hotel. It looks...
