Chambres d'hôtes de rêve à McGregor

« Wonderful historic location. Host provided thoughtful extras that we didnt think to bring. Our only suggestion would be if you prefer a softer mattress I would bring a mattress pad. »

« Our host was excellent to work with - we had an issue with the lock on the door and she was very responsive with helping us solve the problem. The location to downtown was perfect for my husband and I walking distance to every shop. We would have liked to stay longer. We enjoyed looking through the guest registry and reading about the history of the house. »

« Great place! Easy entry on the ground level. Couldn't be any closer to the shops and local hangouts. Very comfortable and relaxing. »

« This historic location was an amazing home base for our girl’s trip to NE Iowa. It’s clean and such a unique place to stay. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of room for the four of us. Our favorite part was people watching from the sun room area, although margaritas on the back patio were a close second. :) »

« Expected a stove and kitchen sink for the price. »

« Good location, a bit noisier than I expected due to trains during the night and some construction. Close to Yellow River Forest, Effigy Mounds and Pikes Peak State Park. Comfortable furniture and bed. Kitchen area includes microwave and small fridge, no sink. Looked like a nice fireplace which I did not use. Shopping, but few restaurants of note on main street; a couple of bars and one gourmet store. Kwik Star right across the street which was convenient. Host was friendly and accessible. »

« Well maintained home. Very clean and had everything we needed. It’s walking distance to shopping, restaurants and bars. Great to sit on the screened in porch, look at the river, enjoy a cup of coffee. We had 10 adults for three days and never felt crowded. Plenty of areas to sit and relax. We will definitely stay here again. »
