Lots of opportunity for outdoor adventures as well: biking, hiking, long walks, fire table chats - all very accessible and well facilitated by the layout of the home and the amenities provided. The most relaxing short vacay I've had in a long while. »

« This rustic cabin in the woods was a perfect get away for unplugging and unwinding. WiFi and tvs allowed the teen to still feel connected, while the hammock, screened in porch, fire pit and natural surroundings created a sense of serenity. Clean, simple accommodations and friendly, non-intrusive host included helped make this a great stay. »

« Aside from food, the place was already stocked with everything you need. Nice comfortable setup. Spent a lot of time hanging out on the deck and enclosed porch just enjoying the view and sounds of nature. Nice and fairly secluded spot but still close enough to venture out and explore what Luray has to offer. We visited Cooter's place (The Dukes of Hazard Museum), The Luray Rescue Zoo, The Luray Caverns and the other attractions they have at the cavernsand found us a fishing spot. Just enjoyed...

« The Barred Owl is a beautiful and extremely clean home with plenty of kitchen-ware, towels, etc. Located at the top of a hill, it is super private on a lovely property. The hot tub was clean and soothing, as well as there is a nice grassy area to build a fire and enjoy the weather or roast smores. I highly recommend and would go back! »
