I had to call 4 times regarding the codes to get in not working, the front door being taped and boarded off and pictures were already sent to customer support at that time showing the damage and liability right there, even before entering the rental unit.
Then, when trying to leave the rental to go to dinner, the codes to lower the garage door( the only access point) were not working again. Another hour spent waiting for assistance.
3 hours in total were spent of mine & guest time just with entry and exit code and door problems.
One of the guests recommended perhaps the batteries died in the door code box.
Sure enough, batteries were borrowed from the tv remote controllers so the garage door could finally be closed.
I had to buy extra batteries to replace the tv remotes, which in fact did not bring up any cable or tv to watch at all during the entire stay either. There were no instructions left there to understand the Roku tv.
While waiting for assistance with the garage codes, one of the guests found multiple hazardous items, sharp and rusty, etc., which could have badly damaged the vehicle’s tires. Not to mention the costs involved to rectify that situation, had that occurred.
This property has been poorly maintained, falls against code on many situations, i.e. the broken and dilapidated front entrance staircase, old boards loose and falling into the walkway and staircase, no alternative egress windows, broken screen. Many pics! We had to clean. Black rags, dontgo
