'The Katebe Gallery was an amazing place to stay. Right on the beach with a beautiful view of Maputo. The staff are top tier and very friendly and helpful. Only downside (if you could call it that) is that the area is very quiet with not much going on in the evening- and everything requires a taxi across the bridge '

'Clean room, clean bathroom, comfortable bed. Room was quiet and I slept well. Included breakfast was good too. The hotel is in the city center. Not much space to work in the room, but nervertheless totally worth the price.'

'La chambre de luxe était spacieuse et moderne, avec coin salon. Grand lit King et décoré avec goût. Bonne pression dans la douche et douche pluie. Très bel hôtel. Seul bémol: les employés sur place semble travailler plus de 12h (de nuit). L’accueil à l’arrivée le soir était un peu froid mais on peut comprendre s’ils travaillent beaucoup trop. '

'Tivoli Maputo is een redelijk hotel. Iets te duur voor de faciliteiten, maar wel gelegen in een redelijke buurt met een winkelcentrum en restuarants met terrasjes. Schone kamers en redelijk ontbijt. Verder nauwelijks faciliteiten.Slecht is dat er nog voor wifi betaald moet worden: 14 US$ per 24 uur.'

'When I arrived, the staff could not find my booking. After being there for over an hour, they eventually allowed me to have an inferior room to what I booked. I had to get quite blunt with them and speak to superiors over the phone. It's a good thing I speak Portuguese. They claimed that they don't use Expedia and that someone is posing as them. So they tried to get me to pay a second time (I had already paid through Expedia and could prove as such). AVOID THIS PLACE OR RISK BEING SCAMMED. In...
