The Space:

Indoors:

Villa Cartenì is arranged over three levels, each hosting an independent apartment accessed via external stairs, each with its own kitchen, living area and sleeping quarters, connected by terraces and stone pathways leading to the garden and private pool. It sleeps 12 across 4 double bedrooms, 2 twin bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.



Ground Floor: the main shared living space, with a spacious open-plan kitchen, dining and living area, two double bedrooms and a separate full bathroom in the living area. Large openings lead to the outdoor terraces, the outdoor dining and BBQ area, the garden and the path to the pool.

First Floor (independent apartment, external staircase): a bright open-plan kitchen and dining area, a living space and a balcony overlooking the sea and greenery, with one double bedroom (en-suite), one twin bedroom and an additional full shared bathroom.

Second Floor (independent apartment, external staircase): an open-plan kitchen and dining area, one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, and two bathrooms (one serving the sleeping area, one near the living area and terrace), with direct access to a spacious terrace with open views, a true highlight for sunsets.

A private swimming pool on a lower level, much appreciated by our guests, framed by sun loungers and shaded patios.

Outdoor dining, a BBQ and shaded patios, perfect for relaxed meals and time together in the open air.

Pool heating is available between April 1st and June 15th, and again from September 15th to October 30th, upon prior request and at no additional cost, with a maximum temperature of 28°C.

Villa Cartenì enjoys a quiet and authentic location in Massa Lubrense, combining privacy and immersion in nature with easy access to the finest spots of the Sorrento Peninsula:



Monticchio: the nearest village, about 1 km away, with a grocery store, restaurants and local services, reachable on foot via steps in around 5 minutes (a steep but manageable walk).

Marina del Cantone: around 6.5 km away, known for its crystal-clear waters and excellent seaside restaurants.

Sorrento: approximately 10 km away, with direct connections to Capri, Naples and beyond.

Positano: about 17.5 km away, ideal for a scenic day trip along the Amalfi Coast.

Amalfi: approximately 34 km away.

Naples: approximately 58 km from the property.

Check-in time: between 3:00 pm and 10:00 pm.

Check-out time: by 10:00 am.

Early Check-In/Late Check-Out: available upon request, subject to availability.



Getting Around:

Parking is available within the property for up to three compact cars.

Due to the nature of the access road, compact vehicles are strongly recommended, as the final stretch is narrow and reflects the typical countryside setting. The property is not suitable for vans or larger vehicles.

The last part of the access includes a short walk from the parking area to the villa.

Other Things to Note:

Services Policy

To ensure consistent service standards, proper coordination and respect for the property, external suppliers and third-party service providers are not permitted.

This includes, but is not limited to, private chefs, catering companies, event vendors, decorators, musicians, photographers, wellness practitioners, transportation providers and other external contractors.

All guest services must be arranged exclusively through Feeling Italy and its approved partners.



Parking: on-site parking is available for up to three compact cars.

City tax: €3 per adult per day, applied for the first 7 nights. This tax is required by the Municipality of Massa Lubrense and is payable in cash upon arrival.



Access and Accessibility: the final stretch of road narrows, so compact cars are strongly recommended and vans or large vehicles are not suitable. The property is arranged over multiple levels with steps to the upper floors and pool, so it may not be suitable for guests with reduced mobility.
