    The Silliman House - A spectacular property that has just been entirely renovated, featuring vintage wood and beams from over 100 yrs ago. Style, comfort, technology, - nothing was overlooked when renovating this home. You will have more than enough space to relax, inside and out. The large living and dining room with a handmade farmhouse table, comfy couch, love seat and recliners, 65' ROKU TV, whole house Bluetooth speaker system, and tasteful décor will make it hard for you to leave. The coffee station in the kitchen will be perfect to get your morning started - enjoy a cup of coffee on the front or back porch - neither will disappoint.

    Bedrooms are spacious and well-appointed, perfect for whatever combination of guests you will be bringing along. Your hosts have taken extreme care in the renovation and decoration process. From the moment you walk, you will understand what makes The Silliman House such a unique gem!

    The rear deck is an oasis all on its own, with comfy outdoor furniture, a gas firepit for chilly nights and NEW in the fall of '23....a 55" SmartTV outside on the rear deck to catch and game while enjoying the fresh Upstate New York air!

    Approximately 15 minutes to Cooperstown or Oneonta, The Silliman House is in a prime location for whatever it is that brings you to this great area. Colleges, baseball, breweries, art, theater - the Cooperstown area has so much to offer. The Silliman House was new to the rental market in 2022 and already has hosted many very happy guests!

    NO pets allowed, including service animals, due to hosts' severe allergies.

The most perfect family home!

Staying at the Silliman House was absolutely perfect! When I tell you they thought of everything you may need, they truly did!! It was cozy, comfortable, spacious and gorgeous as ever. Not to mention, the location was perfectly centered to everything around town. We would 1,000% recommend to any family or friends. We will be back in the near future!

The BEST Experience!

The Silliman House had everything you could possibly think of for the entire family. The House was very clean, well kept and equipped with everything you needed. The Owners met us at check in to show us everything the house had to offer and was willing to help with any questions we had during our stay. With a Busy schedule during a Cooperstown Tournament this house was conveniently located, and easy to find and helped make our days back and forth to the ball field manageable! Cooperstown is a beautiful area, and we wouldn't mind visiting again, even without a Baseball tournament on our schedule!

Wonderful Christmas trip…

We had an exceptional, albeit, short weekend at the Silliman House! Weekend before Christmas and the home was decorated to the tee! Kelly, was very attentive to our needs and walked us through the house and all of its features. The weather was perfectly cold and snowy which created the perfect environment in the home with the tree and fireplace. This was a trip we will truly remember…highly recommended!

Wonderful Stay!

Beautiful home and property for our stay while our son played at Cooperstown. Very clean and has everything you will need for your visit. My family enjoyed the game room downstairs and watching deer from the deck. Would highly recommend for families coming to the Cooperstown area!

The Silliman House was perfect! The hosts thought of every detail to make our stay wonderful. The house is very spacious and nicely decorated. We loved the coffee bar in the kitchen and the fun video games in the basement. The outdoor deck and firepit area were also wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would rent this house again.

Beautiful Home!

This was our first time in beautiful upstate NY and it did not disappoint! We were in town to watch our son play at Dreams Park and the house was perfect! It had everything you need to enjoy your downtime between games and the coffee bar kept everyone going! The owners were fantastic and had great communication throughout our stay. This rental was the perfect home base for our son's 12U Cooperstown trip—spotlessly clean, fully stocked with everything we needed, and hosted by the kindest, most accommodating people.

We had a wonderful experience staying at this rental house during our son’s 12U Cooperstown trip. The home was exceptionally clean, beautifully organized, and had everything we could have possibly needed—and then some! The hosts went above and beyond, greeting us warmly upon arrival, giving us a tour, and making sure we felt completely at home. They were kind, thoughtful, and incredibly accommodating. This house was the perfect home base for such a special week—we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!

Cooperstown Retreat

The Stillman house was a perfect choice for our family while our boys played in Cooperstown. The property is beautiful. The interior was clean with homey touches everywhere. The owners were very hospitable and I can’t say enough about them! It’s also located pretty close to the field which was key.

One of the very best short term rental properties we have ever stayed at

This property is so nicely done. The owners have such a good attention to detail. Notable features we appreciated were the amazing coffee bar, incredibly comfortable beds, large TVs, remodeled great room, outdoor fireplace, and fun game room downstairs. Location is also perfect. Close to Cooperstown and has a picture perfect lake nearby. This is one of the very best short term rental properties we have ever stayed in and we 100% recommend staying here!

Kelly and Phil were wonderful hosts. They have taken tremendous pride in there home away from home. You will want for nothing. Beds are very comfortable as the living room furniture and so clean it was like brand new. We all were very happy with our fall getaway.
