'This is a very well renovated B&B with nice amenities like a smart TV, kettle for tea and coffee, and a super comfortable bed. The entrance to the hotel and rooms is controlled by an electronic code. There is a modest continental breakfast on offer with the option for boiled eggs and a sausage or bacon sandwich. 'I stayed at the royal maritimime hotel for 2 nights and the room was very comfortable,the bathroom was lovely and big and there was daily housekeeping. Only downside is I noticed after the housekeeping had been, in the shower the small bottle of shower gel was still on the floor in the shower so I don't think the shower had got done but that is my only criticism. I had breakfast on my first day and there was good choice and it was nice and hot , I choose to have breakfast in town on my 2nd day...

'Heel erg fijn hotel. Ligging geweldig, parkeren heel goedkoop in garage. Veel winkels en op loopafstand van de Historic Dockyards. Goede restaurants om de hoek. Twee kleine minpuntjes: ondanks een heerlijke douche, is die wel toe aan een nieuwe kitrand en de bedden zijn aan de smalle kant (maar slapen lekker).'

'Zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw die gezellig een praatje komt maken als je dat op prijs stelt en voor je klaar staat. Prima eenvoudig en meer dan voldoende ontbijt. De B&B zit in een oud victoriaans gebouw, badkamer kan een opknapbeurt gebruiken (voorbereiding daarvan leek al in gang gezet). Daarom iets lagere score op netheid en staat van accommodatie. Op loopafstand vind je de ferry naar Portsmouth met een oude haven en nieuwe shoppingoutlet en boulevard met arcades, kermis en meer vermaak.'

'We had a very enjoyable stay at Strattons Hotel. The hotel was one of six I believe. We were just over the road from reception and where the restaurant is located. Very clean room which wasn’t as big as I was expecting but more than adequate for myself and my husband. 'Room was not your bog standard decor but was unique, bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was large with an excrllet shower. The staff were polite and would acknowledge you even if you were just passing.
