East side and beach side, enjoy comfort and location with the Urban Beachcomber!

The Urban Beachcomber provides views of Lake Superior from every window and a cozy, clean, and comfortable spot for you to call home during your visit.

Located steps from McCarty's Cove and short bike path ride or walk to downtown, the centralized location gives you instant access to Marquette's most popular attractions!

Our 3 Bedroom Home can accommodate up to 7 guests very comfortably.
Wireless internet service and cable is available throughout the house.
Kitchen amenities include full size appliances stove, fridge, and dishwasher. Smaller appliances include coffee maker, tea kettle, toaster, blender, crock pot, coffee grinder, hand mixer, and casserole dishes.

The whole house will be available to our guests!
The garage is setup for tuning your gear and storage (ie. for bikes, golf clubs, snowboards, paddle boards etc..)

We are locals! If there is anything that we can do to make our guests stay more enjoyable don't hesitate to call or message us!

The 'East Side' of Marquette is an amazing place to stay! Being only steps from 'McCarty's Cove' and the 'Iron Ore Heritage Trail' you will easily be able to walk, run, or bike your way around town!

-The campus of Northern Michigan University is 1 mile away.

-The YMCA is just down Lakeshore Blvd, as well as Lakeview arena and the Marquette Skate Plaza.

-Lakeshore Bike is one block north, you can see it from the house. They rent bikes and trailers for pulling kids.

-Lake Superior Theater Runs in the summer, right around the corner.

-The Maritime Museum is right next door and open May-September and gives lighthouse tours as well.

-Three parks, the best beach in town, and the Lower Harbor are all within 1/2 mile of the house!

The Beachcomber was perfect for our family (6 adults, 26-77). Proximity to lake, NMU and town made everything easy. We were attending Grandon’s hockey game at NMU and also able to celebrate his birthday with his roommates by cooking them a home cooked meal. Everything needed was there and home was very clean. Loved decor.

Urban Beachcomber was a fantastic place to stay and Matt was an excellent host. Perfectly located. Easy access to the bike trail. We went all over to town on our bikes. Up to Presque Isle, over to Harvey and all over town. A one-mile walk into town every night for dinner at our favorite Mqt eateries. Thank you Matt!! We will certainly be back.

Perfect location.

Stayed in town for long weekend celebrating my daughter bridal shower at Landmark. Was close to everything I miss about living in Marquette. Town, trails, beach, etc. Matt was a wonderful host, house was well stocked with all things needed for perfect vacay. Three bedrooms all on separate floors allowing for privacy and decorated with local memorabilia. Sauna was a hit. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing property for a group

We were lucky this property was available to book for our last minute trip to Marquette. It made our vacation to Marquette very enjoyable and comfortable. We all had room to spread out.Whole house was very clean and decorated with charming art of the city. Bright, sunny, central location.Kitchen was fully stocked and had what we needed to cook meals. Bathrooms were nice and clean. Bedrooms comfortable. We did not use the sauna, but perhaps next time we are there. There were many thoughtful amenities in the cupboards around the house. We will book again next time we visit Marquette. I wish all vacation rentals were this clean and wonderful.

Gorgeous property!

I just wish the weather had been better so we could have sat on the deck looking at Lake Superior. The house is beautiful. We were celebrating my daughter’s graduation and had a large group up. The dining table was large for family meals and plenty of space to play cards. The sauna really helped get over the chill of the rain, and yes, sleet in May; gotta love Marquette. I would absolutely rent this property again!

Perfect location for Graduation weekend stay

The Urban Beachcomber was a fantastic place for our family members to stay for a NMU graduation. The house is well appointed and had everything we needed. The view of Lake Superior was beautiful, particularly the gorgeous sunrise we witnessed. Matt, the house owner, communicated clearly and consistently throughout the booking and during our stay. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Marquette!

Wonderful Stay Marquette

We have stayed at this property several times and highly recommend it. It is very conveniently located, close to downtown and the beach at McCarty Cove. Beautiful spot for sunrises over the lake. The kitchen has everything you need for preparing meals. We enjoy movie nights and foosball in the entertainment in area. The host is very helpful and communicative. This is an excellent place to stay in Marquette.

This house was perfect! Clean, extremely well stocked, fantastic location, and outstanding Host!! Everything you need or want is in this house from coffee/cups and fully stocked kitchen, to bathroom items, to cushions for the deck furniture, to necessities for a beach visit, to well curated books to read. I will only stay here on my next trip to the UP.

Great location, great property!!!

Close walk to “down town” and steps to Lake Superior, could not have picked a more perfect location for our group. There were only 3 of us but house for sure can accommodate more if needed. Property owner was very on top of everything and checked in to ensure our stay was flawless. 5+ stars, we all would stay again if we find ourselves in Marquette again!
