'The place is beautiful and tucked into the woods. I recommend taking a screenshot of the instructions while you have cell service since it cuts in and out when you're that deep in the hills. You have wifi in the room which is great. Loved the property! There's a community kitchen in the lodge for all your cooking needs.'

'This is a very old property. The current owners are trying to update everything. I wish I could give it a higher rating because they're trying so hard. The rooms are very dated but the beds were comfortable. They are updating the rooms one at a time The location is great, less than half a mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Hopefully they can revive this motel. There's a great restaurant down the road in Linville Falls called The Famous Rockhouse. I highly recommend them for breakfast.'

'An amazing stay in the beautifully quiet Blue Ridge mountains. Picturesque Lake Lure is only a short stroll away. Chef Richard prepares a wonderful gourmet breakfast each morning and this definitely not your basic B&B but all at very reasonable prices. Thank you all. I cant’t wait to return.'

'The hosts were wonderful and made sure we had what we needed when we arrived, including making sure we had access to the private parking away from shop/restaurant traffic. We dropped our equipment rental at Beech and rented direct from White Wolf when we arrived which was excellent service and convenient allowing us to skip the lines at Beech and walk right onto the slopes from the rental.
