The hotel is right next to the airport so was very convenient for early flights. Somewhat disappointed that we were told that we would receive a bottle of wine with our deal but instead we were provided with 2 mini bottles instead!

On my way to the room, there were wine bottles, used dinner plates and even a luggage trolley in the corridor. Not a great first impression. When my 8-year old son and I finally got to our room there was a pint glass that was half-full glass of stale beer right outside the door. It had clearly been there for hours, maybe even overnight. My son wondered where I’d brought him to. Not impressed. The rest of the stay was fine, as we just stayed in the room — who could blame us, based on what was outside in the corridor! — until we left to get our flight the next morning. Like all airport hotels, they’re convenient. Room was okay and comfortable. But for the price, I expected a more order and cleanliness.

Would’ve been 5 stars but for: 1. I paid for breakfast, which at 4am when we needed to leave for our flight I was told would be grab and go. When we got to reception to leave and pick up our breakfast there was nothing there. I raised this with the man at reception who said they’d not been told by the person who checked us in. Will be asking for a refund of the breakfast. 2. The hotel gym and pool is in fact a local gym and pool, so not just reserved for hotel guests. This was not problematic in itself but the non-hotel clientele weren’t particularly pleasant to be around - large groups of young men swearing loudly in front of our son and unable to stop staring at me / our son in the pool. Hotel should make it clear that gym / pool is not exclusive for guests as I booked the hotel with the specific goal of being able to take our son for a swim which was ultimately pretty unpleasant

The hotel was clean and tidy, decor in some areas looked a little tired. The pool area was smaller than photos suggested but I suppose that shows the power of a camera with a wide angle lens. Check in process was disappointing, I had to ask questions rather than being provided with basic info regarding parking charges, breakfast times, check out time, leisure facilities etc. Hotel was comfortable enough but I've stayed in nicer establishments for less money.

Quick check in, pool and spa area good, but full of kids, so impossible to swim. Pricey bar and we didn’t use the restaurant. Room was clean and comfortable, for a stopover before a flight it ticked the boxes we needed.
