Gillandrea - Gracious Victorian Accomodation

Gillandrea is available for overnight or weekly accomodation, set in the beautiful hinterland of Maleny.

The grand house features 6 bedrooms, 3 lounge rooms and 3 bathrooms that will accomodate up to 12 people in style.

Located on Maleny's prestigious Mountain View Rd its proximity to wedding venues, King Ludwig German Restaurant and the main street makes it a great place for a romantic weekend or family retreat.

Enjoy all the Maleny-Blackall Range has to offer.

1 hour from Brisbane, 30 minutes to the beaches of the Sunshine Coast and only minutes from the main street and its cafes, Tiffany's and Maleny Manor wedding venues

Spend the warm sunny days enjoying the local walks through Mary Cairncross Park, climbing the Glasshouse Mountains, a day at the beach or simply a game of cricket in the front yard. And then settle in for a night in front of the fire.

Enjoy the views and rolling hills 1200 feet above sea level.

If you wish to have a late check out an extra $25/hr (maximum 2 hours) will be charged. If you require a later check out than 12pm an extra days booking will be required.

Beds were not really up to scratch. The oven doesn’t work. The tv downstairs didn’t have local channels. There were mice and cockroaches and the kitchen cupboards were not very clean. The old house itself was beautiful.

This is a beautiful large property that easily accommodated myself and large family. Everything was nice and clean when we arrived and the home had all the basics necessities like enough towels, shampoo, conditioner, kitchen utensils. Would gladly stay here again! The awesome views from upstairs were a lovely bonus.

The process from start to finish was very easy. The place was clean. We were a group of over 70's and had 3 nights there. The kitchen had most things that were needed.One negative, we could not get the large tv to work, but overall 5/5

Gillandrea offered comfort and friendly nights around the fireplace.The views were outstanding over the Glasshouse Mountains after a short sunrise walk to the nearby lookout.Our group decided we should make this an annual destination.

Weekend Getaway at Maleny

As a group of 5 couples this was very affordable accommodation. A lovely home that spacious without being overwhelming. We were able to have area's for footy watching, boardgames and listening to music around the fireplace. The kitchen provided everything we needed.There were spare blankets in the cupboards and some old towels by the front door for wet days.Tea, Coffee and sugar provided. Hand soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner, toliet paper also.But bring your own firewood, everything else we needed was there.

Cozy setting for our writers retreat

Lovely victorian house in beautiful Maleny

The house was quite spacious and good for accomodating large group of family/friends (we were 9 adult and 2 kids). Everyone had nice time. Few pointers which could improve our stay:1. The house was dusty. It triggered my dust alergy related issues.2. Over all cleaniness could get some more attention. Cob webs and other accumulated dust.3. Cockroach and other bugs coyld be controlled thrpugh pest treatment. 4. Kitchen exhaust was not working. 5. The bbq grill was.not in usable condition (rusty and dusty).However, it was a nice house and we had nice time.

Party to talk about for years

All my friends were amazed with this home. We had a vintage dinner party and the home matches the theme perfectly. Without hesitation, my friends took themselves on a tour of the home because they just couldn’t help themselves. It’s stunning inside and out. All communication and instructions were extremely clear and easy to locate.
