Cabanes à Makanda

« Another wonderful stay at this cabin. Quick responses from host, clean place with all the amenities you’d need. Air conditioning worked great. Great location for hiking or exploring the wine trail. Hidden, yet super easy access to highway. »

« It was perfect for what we had planned. Definitely will be back. Thank you for supplying so much. The only thing we didn’t have was aluminum foil, but you had some really cool bowls that I fix some mushrooms and onions and a baked potato to go with our steaks. We had everything else and if we didn’t, you had everything else there beautiful place thank you CJ »

« High quality room, with farm privacy and atmosphere. We would recommend it and stay there again. Only one thing: The ladder to the loft bedroom is quite steep. My wife struggled a bit with it. But then, she is in her late 60's. Nevertheless, a good place that we will recommend. A/C worked well, and was needed. Room very clean. We hardly saw staff, which was fine, as we enjoyed our privacy. »

« It was a very clean and a wonderful place to stay! We didn't have any pets although it was pet friendly you never would have known any pets had ever been there. Wish we could have stayed longer!! The host was wonderful to work with! »

« Another great property by SIVR! Host responds very quickly if there's any questions/problems. Property is always as described. This cabin was awesome! So quiet and roomy. And the game room was a hit! If you're looking for a great getaway, this is it! »

« Adorable cabin that is both rustic and chic. It had all we needed and more. Very secluded and serene. The hammock and fishing ponds were heavenly and the hot tub was clean and comfortable. The hiking trails at Ferne Clyffe State park were amazing and unique, and the Blue Sky Winery was worth a stop. The Giant City Lodge was rustic and historic, great dining experience. Overall a relaxing stay in Southern Illinois »

« Lovely cabin, well kept especially the lawn around the cabin was nice and cut. It really made us feel much more comfortable about having our dog on the property with us. Will definitely go again! »

« We had an amazing time at the getaway. I’m looking forward my next stay the privacy was priceless. The was setup was more than I expected. Awesome property and scenery. Thank you again »

« Enjoyed our stay. As others have mentioned, the outside perimeter could use touching up, but it's in the woods so it's not really outlandish. The only complaint we had was the key didn't work properly and turned the whole mechanism, so the door had to be unlocked from the inside, which meant we had to leave the cabin unlocked while we were out, which is not ideal. We just brought what little valuables we had with us in the car. Overall very cozy and cleaner and accommodating than most older...

« Beautiful quaint cabin! Had everything you could need. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to stay. »

« Everything was very clean, parking was easy and plenty of room for the truck and boat. Check in was very easy and great contact with very quick responses. Definitely recommend to stay here. »

« The pond did not look like it did in the picture and it was a disgusting color and did not have a beach walk in area. There was also a bug in the refrigerator and on the floor by the refrigerator and then another bug by the garbage can and there was dog food from previous people that wasn’t picked up also thought it was ridiculous at 830 in the morning there was a mowing crew outside that was woken up to on my vacation and I took pictures of it »

« Hot tub was definitely the main attraction for us!! Bed was a tad hard for us. But we slept ok. Other than that we have nothing bad to say. We had a great time! Beautiful cabin! »

« Perfect cabin for two. Private, last cabin on the road. Deer every night in the surrounding fields. Peacocks roaming the fields from the private barn you pass on the way in. We had a small issue with the tv remote. We sent a text and it was resolved quickly. Very close to Giant City park which is a must see. Might have to come back. Thank you for a wonderful few days »

« Great trip. Would stay again »
