'Well located property in very quiet area. Gite has potential and is physically as described. However, some attention to detail is lacking to make this a super place to stay. For example - did not appear to have had a thorough clean certainly not a start of season welcome as cobwebs evident and lots of large insects around the house. Internet not working for first 24 hrs - host responded by buying a replacement router which was much better. We gave up trying to tune in the TV for some home news....

'We had a perfect stay in Elske’s beautiful property in Chadenac. It is really well equipped with a lovely warm pool and plenty to keep us amused such as basketball, table tennis and trampolining. We were looked after very well by Elske’s Team. It was perfectly situated for trips into the château town of Jonzac and historic Pons and only 40 minutes from the estuary towns of Mortagne and Talmont. A stay here is very highly recommended.'
