Up close we found writing on the walls, excessive scuffs, second hand furniture, dryer that took 2x runs to dry, broken dishwasher and busted bed in the master bedroom. We had problems with the thermostat being set on a program and it was 68 degrees. We like it 70-71. We could not override the program so the temp stayed cool. 'We really enjoyed our stayed in Hickory North Carolina. Everything was really perfect except for the weather, but there was nothing in our host could do about that. We hope to return to North Carolina sometime in the next couple years will be sure to stay there again.'
