Very poor facility. The refrigerator in the main house did not work. The freezer worked but no ice maker. The outdoor refrigerator was unuseable due to foul odor. So we trudged back and forth to the guest house for food…all perishables. Next, tvs not hooked up to cable or antenna. Outdoor furniture filthy and unkept. The place could have been lovely, but needs a lot of work to bring it up to “resort” standards. The owner was very nice….we just didn’t know what we were getting into.

Our stay at the Country Resort was FANTASTIC!! The house was beautiful and huge! It was exactly what we needed and had envisioned! The outside was a lovely as the inside - it just felt like an oasis every time we came back to the property. We used the heck out of the pool and the hot tub was OK - they were experiencing some issues with the jets. This is definitely a 5-Star property! I would highly recommend a stay here if you are in the neighborhood! Thanks Bruno & Sofia!

With the overall issues we had with this family vacation, I had to think this through before rating. What i will say upfront is that the owner was responsive to every contact that was made. Our first issue took half of a star-the main fridge was not cooling. The owner called and told us on our drive up. There are two other fridge-in the guest house and out on the decking. This was a pain going in and out as we cook a lot on vacation. That’s one of the things we all enjoy so we spend LOTS of time in the kitchen. Upon arrival, the pool was noted as quite dirty. After looking closer, there was lots of firework debris and the Polaris didn’t appear to be doing its job of cleaning. One inside and unloading, one of my daughters and her husband found a dirty bathroom and bedding that was not clean (lots of human hair). She stripped and bed and washed the linens and cleaned the bathroom. I did let the owner know about the dirty bathroom and dirty bed linens and the dirty pool. He did respond quickly and stated that the pool company and cleaning company would be out on the next day which was Monday. Monday morning arrived. A man from the pool company was looking at the pool equipment. Literally all he did was pull the robot cleaner from the pool and put it on the deck. He left. Mind you the pool was never cleaned-ever. I told owner to cancel the cleaners. He said he would. But they still came. Told them we were fine but they entered the house on the side without knockg. Limited but mor

What can you say when everything exceeds your expectations! The property was amazing! When you pull in the landscaping was perfect, the wow factor of the out door entertainment area!! The homes are both spacious, extremely well maintained, and thoroughly stocked! The beds are amazing, the best rest outside on home we have ever had! The appliances were new a felt like home. The host is what really made the stay what is was. Responsive, communicable, timely, professional. Just an all around good person. The property makes you feel like the city is a million miles away but just right around the corner is everything you would or could need. Great access to entertainment, though I can’t imagine why you want you leave, food, gas everything is right there. This is absolutely a home we will return to. We would go back to Houston just for the house.

Graduation celebration for family

This property accommodated our family perfectly for celebrating my daughter’s graduation. It had all the space we need for out of town family to stay under one roof. The host are very responsive to all questions or concerns. I can tell that the hosts put thought in attention to detail to make sure you have everything you need to make your stay comfortable. This was my first time using VRBO and I would definitely stay ant this property again. Thanks Bruno for making my daughter’s graduation celebration a success!!!

Beautiful home on acreage. Perfect for families!

This spacious home is equipped with all the amenities you could need—and more! It features two comfortable master bedrooms, along with three additional bedrooms in the main house. The tall ceilings create an open and airy feel throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped with ample counter space and everything you need, including a variety of coffee options like an espresso machine and full-size appliances.Though we didn't have the time to enjoy the game room or guest house, the guest house offers every convenience. The hosts were incredible and very responsive. They were a pleasure to work with.

Amazing property for family

Our stay was beyond what we could have hoped for. The property had so much space for our group. Plenty of good communication with the host. We had everything we needed. Perfect Home for a Perfect Trip!

Bruno’s home is perfect for our family’s annual vacation to the magnolia area! It has everything you need and more with PLENTY of space and things to do! This is our second time staying here and we can’t wait to come back again next year! 7 days 6 nights didn’t feel long enough! The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is stocked with everything you need, many different styles of coffee makers (huge bonus!), and the game/movie room is perfect for end of day relaxing! We usually stay here during colder weather so we don’t use the pool but the hot tub is perfect!!! Bruno is awesome and is always available if you need anything. Great Host!!! Thank you for allowing us to come and enjoy your home for the second time!! Look forward to next year!!

Great Place to stay

Lots of room and nice pool and hot tub. Would stay again. Host was very communicative even when there was an issue with some bees. He cleaned them but had one guest who was allergic to bees so host refunded his hotel stay for a night.

Wonderful location for a large group

We had a large group of 4 families with young kids (with bedrooms to spare) and loved our stay! Kids and adults all enjoyed it. The outdoor space is especially fabulous with plenty of covered area so that we also enjoyed our rainy day. We will be booking again!

Family gathering

We enjoyed our stay and the grand kids loved the pool. There was lots of room to spread out and the location was very private. Unfortunately, the hot tub was not working (the host informed us before our stay). The kitchen could use a few more cooking bowls/utensils but there were plenty of dishes. We would recommend this location for the price!

Perfect for our family gathering

The property was absolutely perfect. We have 4 children and they each have families and it worked perfect. Way more room than we even needed. The guest house was perfect for my son with the 2 year old because it was quiet. Owners were responsive and even came to the rescue one evening leaving his son's own birthday party. Over all a great stay!

What an Adventure

Our group of 8 ladies, (some being quite elderly) were able to enjoy this home completely for 1 of our 4 scheduled nights. Then Hurrican Beryl came and although we were quite safe, power went out and our trip was cut short. Bruno did everything in his power to help us and even brought a generator over. We were hopeful but after the 2nd night, it was doubtful power would be restored soon. The place was immaculate, and the place conforms to older people. All bedrooms are on the ground floor, but one main has a step up to access it. The beds are comfortable. The pool is very accessible as well. We utilized the propane grill and it is top notch! Kudos to Bruno, who was there for us ladies.

Perfect for Event

We thoroughly enjoyed this property. It is absolutely stunning and the perfect venue to host our daughter’s graduation celebration. There was literally a place for everyone. Our older guests were comfortable in the AC in the large living room area, the smaller kids and their parents enjoyed the pool, the graduate and her friends loved the game room and everyone else socialized in the many gazebos. It was absolutely PERFECT! We even were able to take some beautiful family pictures.

Family gathering and Pre-wedding dinner

We stayed three nights and hosted a Pre-wedding dinner for around 35 people. This property was perfect for our event and for the family to all stay together. The pool and outdoor living areas are a great place to enjoy Texas sunshine and sit in the shade. Fabulous kitchen to cook in and our chef loved it. Beds are comfy, and home has a great arrangement for family groups to have multiple games or conversations going on.

Perfect house and location for big families visiting Houston

This house was amazing, inside and out. The outdoor decks provided endless entertainment opportunities for our family during our weeklong stay with the hot tub, the pool, the outdoor TV and the game room with pool table. The house is in a perfect location, a nice quiet neighborhood outside of the city bustle but 35-40 minutes to everything you want to visit. The host Bruno was responsive and helpful with anything we needed. Highly recommend for big families or large gatherings in the Houston area.
