Overall, the hotel is in a good location, walking distance from Masjid Al Nabwi and with good food nearby. Although the opposite side has better shopping and food options.
However, upon arrival, it took over an hour to get us checked in. We were not given clear communication especially after a long trip from Makkah to Madinah. The receptionist mentioned he would get in touch regarding a room upgrade to a Haram view but I never heard back at all.
On top of that, our room was only cleaned twice during our 5 night stay and even the quality of that was not great. Our room was not cleaned despite the housekeeping sign being left on for prolonged periods multiple times. We had also been disturbed by staff when we had our do not disturb sign on. I spoke to one of the housekeeping staff about cleaning our room, and instead of helping, he decided to moan instead and told me to call reception. There was also miscommunication with reception and housekeeping staff. Also, there was noise coming from the room next door with people arguing which could be heard. The fridge was hot. Cups were still dirty and not cleaned.
Very good location with good breakfast and fairly modern facilities. It’s just a shame on how slow they are, how poor the communication is and the lack of service from the housekeeping staff
