Kudos to them for being willing to share an attached dwelling with strangers — I don’t think I could! Other things to be aware of: You may be charged $25 extra if unable to check in at the appointed time. The short access road is bumpy, dusty gravel. Otherwise, all routes are paved. « I booked this newly renovated 2 bedroom but was “upgraded” to a 4 bedroom house. At first we were happy because it was a bigger place with more beds for 6 people. I expressed my thanks to the host. The place was at the top of the hill. It was clean but had an old musty smell that will greet you when you open the door. The kitchen had a newer stove and refrigerator. « This is a cozy, immaculate, room with a full bath in a private home. Check in was a breeze and the hosts could not be more accommodating. They left bottled water in the fridge coffee and a bowl of fresh fruit which was a nice touch! We would absolutely stay here again if traveling in the area. Very peaceful and we slept really well after hiking in Yosemite for 2 days. »
