« Nice solid bach with some amazing views in a great part of Hanmer. 4 proper bedrooms with tons of beds, and extra couches for kids who like to shift in the night! Bedrooms are all on ground floor with a bathroom, living/dining room on first level with deck and a loft above living room. Loft ladder is a vertical ladder on wall with no sides and loft has no way to lock it or secure so active supervision of young kids required. Flooring has no insulation so any light sleepers will hear every...

« Excellent place to stay. Only reason why I didn't give it a 5 Star review was because we had to bring our own linen and bath towels. Also no body wash or shampoo was provided. Apart from that everything was pretty top notch. »

« We enjoyed our stay. The side light didn't work in my bedroom and at one point none of the lights worked in the other bedroom. We left a note suggesting they check the bulbs. We certainly left the place cleaner than when we arrived. »

« We had a fantastic two night stay at Oakview. Luxurious, new boutique accommodation on the ground floor of a lovely new property. Only a five minute stroll into the main eateries, shopping and thermal pools. Fabulous hosts and accommodation we couldn’t fault! Would absolutely love to stay at the Oakview again next time we visit Hanmer Springs. »

« Enjoyed our two night stay in Hanmer. House has lots of space and is easy walk to town and hot pools. Note that there’s no WiFi or dishwasher, which you’d expect for this price per night, so if you have kids that ‘have’ to be online, you’d better load up on mobile data. You’ll also spend valuable holiday time at the kitchen sick washing dishes too! »

« Wow! What a space! The drive up is rather intense and I wonder if maybe there should be a warning when booking like other spaces have? Otherwise it was almost otherworldly when we arrived in the thick fog and woke in the morning to wonderful scenery. Definitely recommend »

« We thoroughly enjoyed our stay surrounded by blooming manuka and blissful quiet. The cabin was ideal. Two cautions: nearby hikes are on private property and incur hefty fees for each visit, and extra fees for linen are charged per person and seemed on the high side. »
