Villa's in Lucca

'De woning is vrij donker en ouderwets ingericht. Dat is niet onze smaak. Het zwembad daarentegen ligt heel mooi! Internet is slecht! Hoewel het erg afgelegen ligt ben je wel in 25 minuten in Lucca! Al met al vinden wij de woning te duur geprijsd.'

'I just spent a couple of nights in this gorgeous villa, just 5 min drive from Lucca Old Town! The place feels homey, very comfy beds and everything you need and more than that! Gardens are well kept and everything has got the new and taken care of taste! Carmine, the host, organised for me pick up from Pisa Airport, only 25 min away! Arriving at villa, immersed in rural yet residential area, was a perfect way to start my holidays in the sunny Tuscany! Quiet area, surrounded by trees and sounds...

'This is a gem of an immaculately and tastefully restored farmhouse, set in spectacular olive trees and pine forest. Access is via a long driveway to a house that is about a kilometre from the village. There is total peace at the head of the valley, sitting beside the excellent pool, looking down on the lovely village of Santa Maria dei Guidicci. Sofia and Pierre-Angelo were graceful and very attentive hosts and we highly recommend this unique holiday home.'

'Ou family, ranging from our 6 and 9 year old children up to their 80+ year old grandfather,had a lovely stay in this beautiful accomodation. The house is very charming, but also has great modern facilities like a fully equiped kitchen, window screens against mosquitos, lovely rain showers etc. The view is as amazing as you might dream. The kids had a lot of fun exploring the lush garden while we had drinks on the patio. The road up the hill was a bit scary the first time, but as Massimo promised...

'Het was de tweede keer dat we naar deze plek gingen. Dat zegt denk ik al genoeg. Al was het dit keer het andere, iets hoger gelegen huisje Tonino. Dat is kleiner dan het andere huis (Ministro). Maar we waren maar met zijn drieën en een klein hondje dus het ging prima. Het uitzicht blijft zo prachtig mooi, en het is heerlijk om opa het terras je dag te beginnen of te eindigen.
