'The house is a good place to stay if you need ample room and want a quiet retreat in Saranac Lake. Its not on the water but within a short drive of downtown and the lakes. If you have mobility issues this isn’t the place for you as the stairs to the second floor are very steep and there are floor level changes. 'Moreno's Cottages are a pleasant series of little cabins between Lake Placid and Saranac Lake. My brother and I stayed in #7. There were two twin beds, a nook and a small, separate kitchen area. It was rustic, but modern enough to feel like you had a place to relax after a hike. We did have some problems getting in, but Todd was super accommodating and had backup codes for us to use. We enjoyed great fires and were happily surprised by adequate towels and blankets, etc., which made the stay extra comfy and restful. 'The pictures do not do the property justice. Lots of room in both cabins. With dining and kitchen areas in both, had coffee maker and Keurig's in both buildings as well. And more important than the Lake being close, the ice cream shop is closer!! Also, a nice souvenir shop, restaurant and landmark Donut Shop are within walking distance as well. We look forward to staying here again, but are hoping this review doesn't cause it to be booked when we plan our next trip.'
