Emplacement idéal dans kensington,à deux pas de la station de métro . Personnel hyper sympathique et serviable,un vrai sens de l’accueil . L’hôtel est propre,et bien entretenue malgré ce style un peu vieillot ,nous y retournons pour la 3e fois!

Correct sans plus.
Personnel courtois et efficace. Bonne literie, déco et meubles un peu vieillots. Chambre donnant sur le parc, avec une fenêtre ne fermant pas correctement, ce qui en hiver est gênant. Suite à un appel à la réception, on nous a apporté deux radiateurs électriques. rue assez bruyante et isolation phonique entre les chambres inexistantes. Petit-déjeuner très quelconque. L’emplacement de l’hôtel est top. Vu le prix de la nuit alors que nous étions hors saison (fin janvier) on s’attendait à mieux mais rien de vraiment rédhibitoire.

Je déconseille vivement
Bonjour nous avons séjourné 2nuits au thistle hyde Park pour une maudite somme de 500€ ! La chambre est tellement étroite qu’il faut poser la valise sur le lit pour pouvoir l’ouvrir .. arrivée une température extérieur de 8degres et pas de chauffage dans la chambre , nous avons appeler la réception qui après avoir rappeler 3 fois nous a changé de chambre une fois de plus pas de chauffage et il été déjà minuit passer donc nous avons dormit en pull et nous sommes bien sûr tombé malade! Le lendemain nous avons enfin pu avoir une chambre avec chauffage a 17h …

Nous n’avons pas pu séjourner au sein de l’établissement thistle London Hyde park car celui ci était fermé, nous avons été transférés au Amba Marble Arch. Le premier soir nous avons trouvé une grosse blatte dans la salle de bain. Le personnel nous a proposé de changer de chambre. La seconde chambre, plus petite, n’avait pas le 3ème lit fait (sofa convertible, pas confortable). Nous avons du redescendre demander à ce qu’on nous apporte des draps. Cette seconde chambre était située côté rue et extrêmement bruyante toute la nuit car située à un carrefour et l’immeuble tres mal insonorisé. De plus, le ménage laissait à désirer dans cette seconde chambre car nous avons retrouvé des cheveux dans la baignoire et des moutons de poussière dans un coin de la chambre. De nature plutôt tolérants nous avons tout de même été très déçus de notre séjour.

Tout était parfaitement bien, sauf les chambres "Deluxe" sont petites et manque de place de rangement comme tiroirs ou étagères, en plus de la penderie qui est présente. Salle de bain petite et toujours une baignoire en guise de douche, pour une deluxe !? L'ascenseur est très difficile à maîtriser pour certains clients, que l'on voit partir 5x et quand la porte s'ouvre, il sont toujours dedant et complètement désespérés !! Literie impécable !!! Merci.

Ne vaut pas ses 4 ****
Première chambre attribuée ( la 610 ): minuscule ( afin de pouvoir ouvrir les valises, il fallait les déposer sur le lit, tout aussi minuscule ), sale, puante : bref à peine 2**. Après réclamation et en insistant auprès du personnel à la réception, nous avons reçu une chambre magnifique ( la 302 ) grâce à une gentille fille, Sylvia, qui s’est enfin occupée de nous en toute compréhension. J’y retournerai loger si j’étais certaine de recevoir la même chambre! Toutefois, l’hôtel ne vaut pas ses 4**** en général : situé au-dessus d’une station-service, entrée peu accueillante style “débrouillez-vous” comme dans un parking public avec 3 ascenseurs mal fonctionnants, sans plus) située dans l’autre rue, réception au premier étage, manager absent à 11h du matin... Heureusement, Sylvia était là.

The staff was very helpful upon check in. We were early and they were accommodating. The elevators were slow, but that is like any other hotel. When in London, we would certainly stay here again.

This was my third - and certainly not last - stay at the Thistle London Hyde Park Kensington Gardens Hotel. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. Its location is very close to the Queensway tube station and within approx. 15 minute walk away from Paddington train station. Entrance to beautiful Kensington Gardens park exactly opposite to the hotel.

The location for Hyde Park is excellent and it is good value with handy parking (that you pay for separately). But it took us ages to check in (nobody on the desk) and we were pretty slow checking out.

My family and I stayed here for a few days. The front door locks at 9 PM, and you have to use a doorbell to the front desk. No one was at the front desk at 9:30 PM when we arrived from the airport. We had to wait for another guest to let us in. Rooms were small. Fairly clean (though tired and wearing), except for the mice. We had two mice running on the floor and climbing the curtains. My toddler and pregnant wife weren’t too thrilled. The front desk didn’t seem to know what to do. I asked for a room change, they gave us the last remaining room which had no AC. It was hotter than normal which made it hard to sleep. We also paid for the breakfast, 15 pounds a person for mediocre food. We should’ve help off and only paid by the day if we wanted instead of paying it all up front like they want at check in. We ended up eating there only 2 days out of the 4.

Hotel ben collegato con 2 linee della metro che ti portano vicino ai punti di attrazione più importanti di Londra. Buona la colazione, personale parlante solo lingua inglese, pulizia delle stanze da migliorare per essere un 4 stelle. In ultimo l'hotel è ubicato sopra un distributore di benzina, peccato però che nelle foto rappresentative non si vede e se ti capita come a noi di avere una stanza al secondo piano non è proprio il massimo.

Once we arrived we were told they didn't have any rooms available. We then had to take a 45 minute taxi ride to their other hotel and stay in a part of the city we were trying to avoid. Staff was rude.

Was given a handicapped room although we didn’t need or ask for one. There was a recurring problem with flushing the toilet. The person who came to fix it said ,”This is a smaller toilet. That’s the problem “. The mattress was incredibly soft.

I reserved a deluxe room paying extra and was given a smaller standard room. I complained to the staff but they insisted that it was a deluxe. I rented a second deluxe room and it was bigger. Never again in this hotel.
