The hotel is situated in a quiet area 10 min slow walk from the subway station Earl's Court (which is a direct line to Piccadilly square and Heathrow). The lobby is nice, receptionist on our check in was very helpful, he escorted us to our room and explained all that is needed. The rooms were spacious and the bed was comfortable. There was a tea set and buiscuits- replenished every day.
What needs to be better - the carpet in our room was so stained that it is allmost not acceptable for such an establishment (claiming 4☆). I sincerely hope they are planning a carpet washing soon. The
bathroom had a strange water regulation - there was no cold water coming out of the faucet. The shower draining water too slow so the water overflows the whole bathroom. Also the bathroom door was weighted to always close. I found this to be very unpractical.
We went in the morning to the hotel restaurant, just for a coffee- unfortunately the restaurant staff does not know how to serve coffee - is served without sugar or teaspoons (even though we said w.just want cofee and occupied a table that was not set for breakfast). The chairs in the restaurant were covered in stains and the floor was sticky (on 2 different days). There are many breakfast possibilities on Earls Court, so i wouldn't recommend the hotel restaurant for breakfast (dinner didnt seem as an option since it left poor impression for breakfast). So this bothered me somewhat because it definitely didn't represent a 4 star hotel.
