Two bedroom sleeping up to 4 guests, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, in South
Kensington. This softly hued home takes root between London’s museums
and Hyde Park's stretch of greenery. In the sitting room, Queen Anne
sofas complement the other classic furnishings and delicate artworks –
from still-life paintings to abstract seascapes – enliven neutral
walls. Choose between the kitchen’s wooden breakfast bar and the roof
terrace’s shaded table for your morning coffee, then venture out to
explore the boutique shops and renowned cafés of South Kensington. Your
hosts divide their time between their homes in London and Dartmoor.
When in the city, they like to make the most of its diverse cultural
offerings – from grand concerts at the Albert Hall to the latest shows
at the National Theatre.
From potted orchids to painted flowers, this home’s decor is
nature-inspired. In the kitchen, hand-turned crockery tops the stone
countertops, and the contemporary dining table seats six. Both bedrooms
are soothing in pastel tones: the lilac master has a neat desk and
double doors onto the terrace, and the stylish double has its own
collection of artworks. But be sure to dedicate some time to the
bathroom – with its decadent walk-in shower, deep bathtub, twin sinks
and polished slate-grey tiles, it might this home’s greatest flourish.
Things to know: The property does not have A/C. It has an air purifier
in the master bedroom only. Between May and September a fan will be
provided in all bedrooms.

Before you arrive, the company requires you to complete a short online check-in form for all guests who will be staying to confirm arrival details. Please confirm this a minimum of 72 hours before check-in to ensure a smooth arrival. All of our check-ins are done in person with one of our friendly greeters who will meet you at the property. Check-in instructions and details will be provided 2 days before your arrival.
