We were planning on staying here for multiple trips between now and the end of October, but we have since cancelled all additional stays here. We got there and waited almost 45 minutes to be let in, despite pre-scheduling the time of our arrival. Then, when we had the chance to try to use the hot water, there was none. I called the number provided around 10:00pm, but got no answer. I sent a note via VRBO at that time and received no response. I called again in the morning and spoke to a woman (who I assume is just in a call center). She assured me it would be set as an urgent request and someone would be out promptly to fix it. No one ever showed.
I then got a canned message saying, "We hope you enjoyed your stay..." to which I responded saying again that we have no hot water (it had been almost 24 hours at this point). I did get a response, but it was much of the same, saying that they forwarded our issue to someone and they would get back to me. I never heard from them.
We reserved this place for a short stop in London to have a shower and do laundry before we moved on into Europe, but we weren't able to do any of these things. Completely defeated the purpose for our stay here. This is why I usually don't stay at VRBOs managed by companies, rather than individuals. Will not do this again, nor stay here again.
