'Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Food was really good and they even had packed lunches for when we’re out on a day trip. No cell reception (which we thought was a bonus), but (luckily) great WiFi. Showers were mediocre at best, but the beds were great. Area around the hotel is absolutely stunning; there’s beautiful nature right around the corner.'

'Elizabeth sent me an email before I was checking in making sure i was aware that there would be no one present on site. Keys were left exactly where she said they would be and instructions for breakfast and everything else were easy to understand and locate. The Crossing is suitably located right next to the Kingussie railroad station and is close to the Barracks - one of the sites to see while we were there. Would highly recommend this place.'

'This is certainly a hidden gem located in Inverness. Upon arrival it was noticeable how clean the property looked. We were welcomed by a lovely young girl who checked us in and explained everything about our stay. The hallway up to our room was beautifully decorated and very modern looking. Our room was lovely, very spacious and it was spotless. The added bonus was the basket of goodies left in the room for us, my husband was very grateful indeed. We had continental breakfast as part of our stay...

'Our original room, The Robert Burns Siute, was dark, and faced the road with a view of the dumpsters. After complaining immediately to the manager, he booked us into room 2, Mary Queen of Scott’s, a beautiful room facing the loch with breath-taking views. Heated floors in the bathroom, a comfortable king bed and excellent service rounded out our experience. The loud 1970s music blaring during our adequate dinner was unpleasant though.'
