'We loved the scenic (but short!) drive to the cabin. It was so nice to get away from everything and just enjoy the peace and nature. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub was amazing, and I was in love with the deep tub in the bathroom. It is a beautifully rustic cabin. 'The Guesthouse is a great place to take a break from the busy everyday life. Great place to sit back and relax and just slowdown to enjoy the wildlife and peaceful countryside of the Texas hill country. Take a short drive into town for great restaurants and local shopping. Everything is set up perfect for an enjoyable relaxing stay. Can’t wait to go back.'

'Loved it! Spread corn before we went to dinner, came back and there was a doe eating. The record player was a plus. The host had amazing hospitality, even left us food to cook breakfast. '

'The cabin is just the right size for a couple. The high ceilings make the cabin feel roomy. The bed was comfortable and Kathy took care of anything we needed. We had access to the whole ranch and enjoyed seeing the wildlife each day, especially the longhorn calves. We cooked our meals there and had all we need. If you want to grill you’ll need to provide your own charcoal. The cabin is quiet and cozy deep in the heart of the Hill Country.'

'We had an absolutely wonderful time here. It was exactly what we needed to get away from work and kids for a long weekend. It's far enough off the beaten path that you feel secluded and private but you're close to Fredericksburg and Enchanted Rock for days out there. The cabin was cozy but not tight-quartered and felt very relaxing. Many birds and deer can be seen right from the porch, adding to the seclusion. We loved our stay and would certainly want to come back.'

'Wonderful stay at this property. We stayed during the week and no others were staying at the cabins during that time so we had access to the full backyard. The lighting was great there at night, had many lights outside to make it easy to walk out there to look at the gorgeous night sky. Comfy seating as well. Bed was good! Has an extra twin bed (make sure to bring sheets!) that my 6yo slept on. Only thing we forgot was butter/oil so I would suggest you make sure to bring that or offer that as a...

'We stayed during the Labor Day weekend. The property is amazing. If you are looking for peace , quiet and nature, then this is the place. Be prepared to drive a little for food. Night sky was amazing. Got to see game mornings and evenings. Lot of hummingbirds. Few improvements which would enhance the property- Bed was comfortable but was squeaking a lot. Would be good to increase the height of the shower. Users over 5.8” need to bend to shower. Would be good to have a EV charger. '

'The view was worth being 20 minutes outside of town! Cabin was adorable with full kitchen. Large bathroom. No fenced in area for pets and the stickers were an absolute nightmare!'
