Exposed beams lend a rustic cottage air, while skylights and clerestory windows ensure ample natural light. The music room is the closest you can get to forest bathing inside: a window overlooking the green, towering trees lets in light while sparking flights of fancy. The open floor plan for the living room and dining room offers expansive views through the French doors onto the deck, and a wall of windows gives you a front row seat to sunsets over the water. On warm evenings, dine al fresco on the deck with the ocean as your backdrop.

You can rent kayaks or canoes to paddle up Big River, but if you prefer to stay firmly on land, the Big River Haul Road offers miles of trails up along the estuary.
