'Andi the chef was fantastic and the restaurant and bar staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food and drinks were amazing. The bungalow was clean, comfortable and quiet. The resort staff made us feel special! We were always greeted with a big smile and anything we needed was taken care of promptly. We will definitely be back!'

'Our recent visit to Veranda Resort Hotel was a last minute decision based on an unplanned trip to Roatan. However, we were lucky to find very affordable rates through Travelocity, which proved to be a steal. What we found was an amazing 5 star accomodations that began with our check-in, assisted by a young lady named Sam, followed up by dinner, and a personable staff, headed by the Manager Hector, who introduced us to several local drink options, and his staff. 'This property is well kept and has excellent service personnel in all departments. It is quiet and very relaxing with a beautiful pool, dock, bar area and playground area for kids. I highly recommend a stay here. '

'I traveled with my two teenagers and they loved the lodge they liked the feeding the animals too. I appreciated the free breakfast and the quick walk to the beach. Celeste, the owner was amazing and Lorelei at the front office also! Super helpful and helped me with horseback riding for my daughter and charter fishing for my son. Cannot recommend West Bay Lodge enough! We are going back next year too!'

The hotel is located along the main road to West End, and can be somewhat noisy with loud motor bikes, but this noise level would be the same at other properties as well. The shower water was decently hot and the shower was a large walk-in type. The room fridge worked, and there was no microwave. Filtered water was available in the office.
