Santo António is a dynamic neighborhood in Lisbon's city center. The upscale area is home to some of the city's most recognizable landmarks, including the Praça Marquês de Pombal and the Avenida da Liberdade. Santo António's culinary scene includes several Michelin-starred restaurants and a variety of international cuisine, as well as cafe and bars. The neighborhood is the setting for Portugal's National Museum of Science & Natural History as well as the Casa-Museu Medeiros e Almeida, a mansion that has been converted into an elegant art museum. Santo António is served by the Blue and Yellow lines of the Lisbon Metro as well as several bus and tram lines.
