'The location was excellent, walkable to the ferries, trains (10 mins), restaurants and bus stop that takes you to Portofino. It is a quiet area, much less traffic noise than directly on the port. There is an Ekom supermarket only 5 minutes from the unit which is well stocked. The unit is a great size with a well equipped kitchen (except oddly no cutting/bread board or tea towels), has a washing machine, clothes drying rack (no pegs) and small balcony which was a lovely spot to relax with a...

'The best location, right in the lower area of Riomaggiore so it’s very easy to access and get around with minimal stairs. Cutest little apartment with everything you would need to cook. There is a bit of a damp smell but only takes 5-10 minutes with the window open to air it out. This location is unbeatable and Riomaggiore is definitely the best town to stay in. Will 100% stay here again in the future! '

'Beautiful room in a perfect location, just off of the main town square of Vernazza. Easy access to shops, dining, ferry, and train station. The combo washer/dryer was an unexpected benefit as well.'

'The Sound of Silence was great, very rustic and nice and big and included was some food and milk to get us started so we were able to have breakfast every day at the vrbo. The washing machine was great as we had some laundry to do in the middle of our Italian holiday. I would only rent this place if you have a car as we did not and there were not taxis or Ubers in Bellagio, and it is quite the hike up the mountain! It has such great hiking in the area and we just loved Cinque Terre!!'

'We enjoyed our stay. We appreciated that it was a clean, spacious apartment; there was plenty of room for our party of 5. There were many towels provided, and having access to a washing machine and lines to dry was very helpful. It was pretty far up a steep hill, so getting there with luggage wasn’t ideal, but we were able to walk to the beach (5 min downhill, 10 min up hill) and to old town (15 min). I was worried that I wouldn’t like new town or would feel too far from old town, but there were...

'The check in process was not good, I had to call VRBO for them to communicate with me to give me the process. There is a bar right down below the room and it was loud, one night they closed at 12:30am. Lots of stairs to get to the room. The place is clean, good hot showers and the bed was comfortable, when you can get the sleep. '
