'Very well designed hotel room with smart features for a traveller, like universal power plugs. The hotel staff is friendly and professional. The mattress is a bit on the short side though (180cm), so not ideal for taller people. The mattress is also very hard, so that's something to keep in mind. They also offer you to order breakfast from a famous breakfast place, which is deliver3d to the hotel between 07:30 and 08:30, so you don't have to wait in a queue for over an hour. Nice option, but...

'Despite a highish pricenfor thebdate of our stays. The hotel is at a great location. Everything is so clean and tidy. There is a fantasticnkids play area. Arra u can grab outside food and eat. Provision of small savoury snacks between 2-4pm. Very helpful staff. Special mention re: EVA of 4th Floor and Joanne of 37th floor. Rooms are on the small side and no sofa available. However we will still return. Perfect for those w younger children. '

'台北駅まで近いです。近くに飲食店も多く、ホテルの1階はコンビニです。 フロントスタッフは日本語OK。流暢なスタッフと、片言のスタッフがいますが、皆さん英語が話せるので困ることはありませんでした。　 荷物はチェックイン前もチェックアウト後も預かってもらえます。また、フロント近くには、宿泊客専用のドリンク&スナックがあります。カウンターと椅子があるので、ここで休む事も出来ます。 部屋は案外広く、水回りも使いやすく綺麗です。シャワーの水量も圧も、私は大満足でした！冷蔵庫、電気ケトル、タオル、リンスインシャンプーあります。それ以外は持参した方が良いです。 今回初めての台湾で4泊しましたが、また次回もこちらにしようと思いました。'

'2nd visit - 2nd time satisfied. I actually love this hotel. The location is very central and close to markets and grocery stores. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are large with added amenities plus are clean and welcoming. The breakfast is probably the best we have had in Taiwan - especially the fresh & crunchy salads and dan dan noodles. Gotta love the daily bag for self-yourself candies. You can’t go wrong here!'

'We stayed for six nights - we only planned for four but the staff was so welcoming we added two more. Clean rooms, free snacks and bottled water, coffee and tea. The hotel is on the top floors of retail, restaurants and movie theatres so there’s sometimes a wait but it moves quickly. Shout out to Sping, Jack, Jerry and Tommy for making our stay so comfortable, as well as the housekeeping staff. Definitely recommend.'

'Convenient located (five minutes walk) near metro station Dongmen, with access to two metro lines. Walking distance from CKC Memorial Hall. Shops and restaurants nearby including a 7-Eleven next to the hotel. Room very nicely decorated. Superb bathroom, the hot water pressure of the walk-in shower is incredible. Fine view of the 101 from the accessible roof. Self service washing facilities available. Breakfast is western style (scrambled eggs, beacon, sausage, toasted bread) and Taiwan style....

'Chaiin Hotel was great - perfect location right above Dongmen metro and the post office. Easy access to Yongkang St. and 24/7 7 Elevens. Rooms were very clean and the staff was friendly. Dongmen/Daan area is a great place to stay in Taipei!'

'Very convenient location. Although the hotel is old but the room is clean, spacious and comfortable. Service staff is polite. There is a common room provides space for guests to reheating food making beverages and socializing. The view is also good, that you can see Taipei 101, Taipei main station and city view with mountain. Strongly recommended. '
