At night, you'll venture to the end of the driveway with your phone to capture the moonglow on the snow-covered cabinet mountains.

Just fifteen minutes downriver from the Libby Dam and 92-mile long Lake Koocanusa, you can spend an entire day on the lake and see only a handful of boats. Whether you spend the day fishing or playing and swimming at the Souse Gulch Recreation Area, you’ll feel like Lake Koocanusa is your own private paradise.

With the Kootenai River, a "Blue Ribbon River", in your back yard, quiet Lake Koocanusa just up the road and over 400 miles of hiking trails in the Libby Area, the options to immerse yourself in nature are endless.
