I strongly advise against staying at this property due to the following serious issues:
1. Pest Infestation:
âą There is a known bedbug problem at this location.
âą I discovered signs of bedbugs before bringing any of my belongings into the room.
2. Sanitation and Cleanliness Concerns:
âą Garbage was scattered throughout the property, including a full trash bag left near the front entrance.
âą The room I was assigned to was filthy and smelled musty.
âą The bedding had clearly not been changedâit was stained and covered in food, dirt, and other debris.
âą The floor was sticky, and the appliances were old and rusted.
3. Inadequate Staff Response:
âą When I reported the bedbug issue, the front desk employee was completely unsurprised, indicating prior awareness.
âą I requested to check out immediately and asked for a refund, but was told only the manager, âCameron,â could authorize it.
âą I was informed the manager would not be available until the following day.
4. Misleading Information:
âą I was told the office phone number was printed on my receipt; however, the number provided was for a general booking line, not the hotel directly.
5. Unresolved Refund Request:
âą I never spoke directly with the manager because I could not get in touch with him.
âą Expedia contacted the property on my behalf, and I was later informed that the manager refused to issue a refund, despite the unacceptable conditions.
