« While on a motorcycle road trip, I stayed for one night at the Owl’s Perch on September 28th. It is a charming private wood cabin adjacent to the house of the hosts, Doug and Alice. It is quite a unique and peaceful accommodation in Robbinsville, NC, 30 min from the city accessible through a beautiful winding road while being very close to scenic roads and scenery like the Dragon’s tail road. « Excellent place to stay near water. Close proximity to surrounding businesses. »

« Really cool 60's vibe. Rock band pictures, peace signs everywhere. It really oozed peace and love throughout. We grew up in the 60's so it really took us back in time. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Location is very close to downtown. Great! »

« The cabin was very clean. I suggested some lights for people arriving in the dark as the drive up to the cabin was very dark. We had a wonderful time. »

« Clean and cozy. Comfortable bed. Good parking. Great shower but slow to get hot water. Check in not good. Couldn’t get into room for 45’ because codes would not unlock the door to the room. Finally staff member appeared and gave us a master key. TV wouldn’t work. Poor WiFi. Maid halfway made up bed and emptied waste cans but did not replace used coffee cups, Keurig cups, or water cups. Have to walk to the adjacent motel for morning coffee. »
