You will find a local shop and garage 3½ miles away at Newtown Cross, another at Fromes Hill, 4 miles. There are a couple of pubs in Bishops Frome, 3½ miles, and a dining pub in Staplow, 3½ miles in the other direction. A good golf course is situated just 5 miles from the cottage.
