Had a great stay in Lava Hot Springs. The house was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. Everything felt thoughtfully set up, with quality furnishings and a cozy atmosphere that made it easy to relax after a day out. The location was especially convenient close to the hot springs, food, and local attractions while still feeling quiet and private. It stated there was washcloths abd towels in kitchen and there was only was towels. No garbage bags, the propane was completely out we went a bought a new bottle, the chairs in theaterroom on top did not recline, and whoever stayed before us had a dog and the theater room smelled like urine.

Great place for family and dogs

This was a great place to stay if you’re interested in being close to the pools, and having a place to yourselves. Kids loved the foosball table.

Lava hot Springs Stay

Overall it was good. We had to dig our way in and there was no salt for the stairs, which made it a little dicey. Overall it was clean, we really enjoyed the theater room, and it was really close to the hot springs, which was great.

Wonderful location for our girls trip

Clean and comfortable, the movie room was a nice bonus. Within walking distance to everything. Just as a heads up to future guests, it was a particularly hot few days we were there, so the lack of AC was a little tough, but not a deal breaker. Also one of our guests is particularly sensitive to cat dander and struggled a bit with that.

Good for large families with dogs

We enjoyed having a fenced in yard for our pups and loved the theatre room downstairs. It was cooler downstairs too. The coffee and kitchen were great. Nice spot to get to Lava hot springs. But the negatives were the rugs are dirty, no lamps anywhere in the house, very soft master room mattress, and the biggest negative was no AC. It got up to 85 in the house! There was one fan and three ceiling fans and some windows opened. It did cool down at night but it was miserable till later in the evening. The trains were noisy as well as neighborhood fireworks that went till about ten. It scared the heck out of our dogs. This house is great for a large family since there are 4 bedrooms. But a few AC boxes are badly needed.

It was close to town. And it was clean . There is many stairs to get up into the house. Also it only has portable air conditioning units and fans. It was very hot and uncomfortable. It was 95 degrees in lava at the time we was there. Also there is not a plug in the main bathroom . So if you want to dry your hair you have to go downstairs to the tiny half bath to do it. Also you can walk on top of the garage. But don't let your small children out there, it's quite a fall with No railings. We will not be renting this again
