'Stayed here for two different days on a there and back road trip to Chicago. Clean rooms. Nice room layout. "Award-winning breakfast" is a stretch. Don't get your hopes up. And, while it's not the hotel's fault, the surrounding roadways are a nightmare. There are some potholes that could destroy your car if you're not careful. Assume this is due to the dead/dying mall next door. Otherwise, there are plenty of restaurants and shops in the area, just be careful driving.'

'I got to the property very run down clutter all over the outside . Roof falling off out front . There was no one at the desk to check me in when I arrived around 11:30 pm . I walked out and never even stayed because there was nobody to check me in. Expedia needs to do a better job at monitoring the buildings they promote for people to stay in. A waste of money .'

'I loved my stay here. It was only one night, but I will absolutely stay there again if I’m in the area. The room was basic, but cute and incredibly clean. I honestly think this was the cleanest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. The bathroom as well, and there is almost always something icky in any hotel bathroom. The bed? Oh my gosh - SO comfortable. Part of what made it that way (besides the perfect mattress) was the soft, printed cotton sheets that felt like your favorite worn sheets at home -...

'The staff was excellent. They were kind and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. We didn’t need the kitchenette, but there plenty of items for use available at the desk if we had needed them. The breakfast was continental, but that is how it was advertised, so there was no surprise there. There were muffins, breakfast bars, and instant oatmeal available along with coffee and tea.'

'I had a room on the 2nd floor and it was SO loud that I could barely sleep. Room was near an entrance to the hotel & next to the kitchen. I could even hear the bathroom above me. Pretty hotel, nice hotel staff, great location but I was there to sleep & couldn’t.'

'This place was just ok. I was pleased the pool was clean and in working order, but otherwise there was a lot that was underwhelming. On our second day, our keys stopped working, and when I went to get new ones, had to wait a long while because lots of folks were checking in and some were returning to the desk because their assigned rooms were dirty or had people actively in them. Overall, kinda spooky vibes, understaffed, and under-cared-for.'

'Breakfast is not very varied, especially for long staying guest a disappointment. Also one type of fruit, yellow bananas at the beginning of the week, till they are brown in the weekend. '
