Serious maintenance required in my room. Inadequate facilities, no bin in the main areas only in the toilet, dressing table but no chair available?? Lack of plug sockets, only 1 in bathroom or unplug the TV. Peeling and scuffed walls. Needed woodwork refurbishing. The room I was originally offered I would have had to walk through an area covered in water from a leaking roof? No danger signs ? I actually mentioned it to reception as I had mobility problems so I was offered another room close to an elevator as I mentioned my mobility. The nearest elevator did not work. Overall not worth the money, stayed in much better for a lot less money. It appears everything questioned they say "see reception". The staff on reception are pleasant but I think some of the areas of complaint are well out of their control. Would never return to this hotel. Paid for buffet as only staying one night ( thank goodness) it was mediocre some of the dishes were tepid and unpleasant. Had much better in other hotels. It appears that some of the staff in the restaurant are not as amenable. I asked as I would miss breakfast ( early flight) could they do anything, they said " see reception" i had already asked reception and they said No.
WiFi reception poor, again on asking reception they said because there was no sun try another room ? That was when I encountered the water which was a danger area. This was only rectified by cordoning off after I had told them about it. Overall a very bad experience!!
