'Everything was great. 2 other rentals on the property so don’t expect complete privacy. The pickle ball court, cowboy tubs and hot tubs were very enjoyable. The rooms and living were nice. No tv, recommend bringing a tablet. Overall a great stay and experience. '

'Clean, specious for 2 people. Nice kitchen, fully equipped. One thing I didn't like; the bathroom sink was not in the bathroom, but in the bedroom. Also, it was a little hot in the room.'

'Excellent location to get away! This clean, secure property has everything you need to spend a little R&R under the stars. We enjoyed the proximity to Pioneertown and Joshua Tree/Yucca Valley. Highly recommended. '

'We never wanted to leave!!!! I absolutely fell in love with this home. For my 30th birthday I searched endlessly for a place that would offer my husband and I some guaranteed solace. This was exactly that. In the high desert, looking up at the stars at night was an experience of a lifetime. We gazed for hours! Many shooting stars were seen and easily visible to the naked eye. 'Overall, an outstanding stay! My GF and I had a wonderful time in this cozy little retreat! We chose a new moon stay which meant magnificent views of the stars and Milky Way from the hot tub! Joshua Tree, the town and national park, offers some unique sightseeing and amazing park scenery. Only a couple of things I’d change…1. Fix the coded lock door. The bolt sticks. 'We had such a wonderful and peaceful stay at The Creosote Cottage. The location is removed from the hustle bustle of actual Joshua Tree, which we loved. The cottage has the best desert home vibes and truly has everything you need: all the cooking supplies, spices, coffee/tea, Q-tips, makeup towels, body wash/lotion, shampoo/ conditioner, games and puzzles, an AMAZING record player and choice of records, pool floaties, corn hole, LITERALLY EVERYTHING. 'This place had a ton of cool details that made it a fun stay. Maybe a little small in the shared areas to make use of the two bedrooms (unless you plan on being outdoors a lot). The hammock area was excellent for stargazing and the pickleball court is well made. Would definitely recommend! The hosts were attentive and quick to reply. Only consideration would be to ask for AC to be on before your arrival.'
