Woonboten in Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area

'The resort outdoors was beautiful, had a nice lake view. Rooms smelled musty, no mini frig or microwave. Had to buy a cooler and ice daily to keep drinks cold. Rooms need updated. Restaurant prices were very high cost us $100 for 4 just for breakfast buffet.'

'When we arrived all the electrical power was off. Storms had downed power lines in the area. It could have been a disaster for us. The staff went above and beyond their normal duties to get us in our room. The power was to be on in a few hours. Went went site seeing of the area. When we came back the power was on. Thank goodness. We love the resort. I believe it opened in 1952 but it look like it opened in 2015. It was fully renovated and super clean. Food for breakfast was very good and...
