Cette maison entièrement restaurée dans le pays Amish du comté de Lancaster est le refuge parfait des soucis de la vie. Situé sur un acre le long des routes de campagne entourées de terres agricoles, vous pouvez profiter du porche arrière ou de la terrasse avec foyer au bois. Notre chalet offre des commodités modernes avec des touches de style vintage, comme de superbes planchers de bois franc d'origine, des poutres apparentes et une cheminée restaurée. Vous pouvez vous détendre dans la maison calme et confortable avec une cuisine entièrement équipée, y compris une cuisinière, un four, un four micro-ondes, un grand réfrigérateur, des plats de cuisson et des casseroles et poêles, ou conduire à quelques minutes de nombreuses attractions et restaurants.

Nous sommes à proximité des théâtres Sight and Sound, American Music Theatre, Strasburg Rail Road, Dutch Wonderland, Rockvale et Tanger Outlets, et des marchés et galeries de Lancaster City. Nous sommes à proximité du village d'Intercourse, du village de Kitchen Kettle et de nombreuses autres attractions du pays Amish.

Outstanding in every way!!! This trip crossed off my wife's bucket list item. What a dream lication inserted straight into the middle of the Amish culture we love and admire so much. Tranquility is the best aspect of this charming property. Every day we saw Amish children scootering to school and horse drawn wagons and buggies as we drank coffee on the back porch or by the firepit. Sunrises and sunsets were amazingly beautiful. We viewed hot air balloons taking off from Lancaster every day as well No reason to leave the home but so much to do in the area you will want to venture out. Quiet, sturdy home for its age. Peaceful. No noises. Perfect!!! John and Deb are the GOATs of VRBO hosts. A must stay!!! We will be back.

The cottage was beautiful and welcoming from the first step inside! Delicious homemade cookies to greet us. Cozy bedrooms, kitchen stocked with essentials, great fire pit with seating for all 5 of us comfortably and the view and souroundings that will take your breath away! Close to attractions but just far enough away from the noise! Beautiful home that has been taken care and hosts were quick with responses. Would definitely stay again in the near future!

Well restored and maintained. The original wood was outstanding. Cookies were a nice touch. It was an idyllic spot within easy drive of every place we wanted to go. Ran into a few cobwebs in the bathroom and had an issue with yellow jackets, but that is just nature! Everything we needed was there. Too much light in the middle bedroom, especiallt the light under the top step.

We recently spent 5 nights at this lovely cottage and had a wonderful experience. The location was perfect—just minutes away from shops, restaurants, and local attractions, making it very convenient for our family. This is a sweet cottage away from the hustle and bustle. It is situated on a corner and affords a beautiful view of farmland and sunrises/sunsets. The bedrooms and bathroom are all located upstairs. We loved the beams and antique furniture. There’s a griddle in the kitchen that makes cooking breakfast easy. We appreciated the air conditioning.

Short vacation

This is a beautiful property. It was clean and so charming. We loved our stay here. We loved the old farmhouse feel of the property and all the antique furnishings. The hosts were thoughtful and quick to respond to questions. We usually take this trip annually and hope to stay here again.

Loved It!

This was our 3rd stay in this lovely home. The location could not be nicer. It is so quiet & peaceful. We enjoyed watching the Amish farmer next door plant tobacco and the ongoing horse & buggy traffic. The house is one of the best stocked houses we have ever stayed in. John & Deb have thought of everything to make it feel just like home, right down to the fresh baked cookies waiting on the kitchen table. There is not a thing I would change about this house. Thank you John & Deb! We can't wait to stay with you again! :)

A gem surrounded by farmland

We loved our stay here. The home is on a quiet road away from the bustle of the tourist areas, yet just a short drive to all the major attractions. It is surrounded by farmland and the views are so peaceful. We loved seeing the sunrises and sunsets. The home has been lovingly restored, keeping the historic feel alive with exposed brick and beams and furnishings. We loved the refinished wide plank floors and even the slight floor slant in the master bedroom. The kitchen and bathroom are well stocked with supplies. We didn’t get a chance to sit around the fire pit as it was raining one day and the other days were a little windy and chilly, but John and Deb supply all you need to start a fire in the pit. We were welcomed with homemade cookies which was such a nice touch (they were delicious!). The home was very clean, very comfortable, and well cared for. If you want to experience all Lancaster has to offer, but also want to relax in a peaceful setting, this home checks that box. We will be back!

Amish Country Relaxation

This is the 3rd time my husband and I have stayed at this farmhouse. It's in the perfect spot if you would like to immerse yourself in an Amish area. The farmhouse is not in the tourist area but very close by. We travel from CT to the south occasionally and this is the perfect place for us to take a break from a long ride and do a little shopping!

Mom’s Getaway Perfection

We were three tired moms looking for some quiet and a place to catch up with each other and this home was so spotlessly clean, charming, and peaceful that we were able to recharge and head back to our homes ready to face our sweet families. So thankful for the love that was put into restoring this amazing treasure of a spot! So close to so many good places too but off the beaten path. Can’t wait to return!
