'Excellent location, Quiet. Kind staff, beautiful view, beautiful room and clean, very nice breakfast. Superb pool area and terrasse overlooking the Douro Valley. I highly recommend. Only downside is the bathroom and toilet is in the bedroom open area. However, there are other bathrooms for more privacy in a well decorated cabin outside the room. '

'Mooi hotel boven in de bergen, midden in het Dauro wijngebied. Hotelier is tevens wijnproducent van hele mooie Portugese wijnen, deze kun je ook in hotel proeven en uiteraard kopen. Wij hadden een gratis upgrade naar een zeer mooie suite. Mooie badkamer, loungeruimte en goed bed en balkon. Restaurant met goede dinermogelijkheden. Uitermate vriendelijk personeel die je het zoveel mogelijk naar je zin willen maken. Alles ziet er supernetjes en schoon uit. Absolute aanrader in een mooi en rustig...

'The hotel is modernized and has all the facilities that are needed for a good stay. It is too far to walk to the city center but all the needs are in the hotel so no need to leave the property. We enjoyed Lamego during a week of festivities which was recommended by the hotel and was much fun!'

'Spectacular B&B! The suite apartment was stunning, large and comfortable. Sparkling clean and also so beautifully decorated! The balcony has a beautiful view. The common areas are also amazing for hanging by the pool or grabbing a drink. The service was also incredible! Breakfast was delicious and very complete with lots of local charm. '

'This is a room to remember! It is apparently new judging from the pristine condition and stylish modern amenities. The private hot tub on the patio is a welcome amenity after a long day of sightseeing and port wine tasting. The view out the windows is pastoral and inviting. Its just a short distance from the town, but its not practical to walk anywhere from here so we recommend if you have a car or are happy to use rideshares. The driveway entrance is non-descript so pics are below to help...

'Everything about this spot was wonderful! The views are spectacular, we felt like we were living in a postcard. The house was so clean and cozy. Giselle was so easy to communicate with - the driving instructions were very complete, and she checked in during our stay. There was even a bottle of port and some cookies when we arrived. 10/10!!'
