This house was exactly what we were looking for and perfect! It was the perfect cozy cabin in the woods with the perfect kitchen for my family to gather around for coffee and meals! And of course the fire place was amazing! Rooms were perfect! The only suggestion I have is that I think they need a new sofa. It’s very warped and a little uncomfortable bc you sink in to much. But I would absolutely book this house again! We really enjoyed the hot tub, the game room and feeding the deer everyday right out of our hands! The deer would literally hang out around the fire pit with us and eat from our hands! So cool for my kids!!!

Cute log cabin

We enjoyed our weekend in this adorable log cabin to attend NASCAR, the home was equipped with everything we needed. It is very private and close to plenty of restaurants on the lake. It has a nice game room and outdoor fire pit (firewood was not provided), wild life is up close and personal. We would book here again in the future, possibly during the winter months.

Was an amazing winterwonderland. Thank you, Avantstay Team for making our stay perfect. Answering all questions and going above and beyond. The cabin was clean and welcoming. Don't know how you managed to order the snow or the deer my 7 year old floridian granddaughter fed from her hand, but thank you for that too! Even squeezed in the playoff game next to the roaring fire -- GO BIRDS! We will be back.

Family fun!

This cabin was the perfect winter getaway. We arrived Christmas day and it was a breeze checking in. It's perfect for kids but was a bit chilly in the play room, nothing warm socks and sweats can't fix. Everyone enjoyed their stay. Skiing and was close and convenient.

Need heat

Heat was at 50 when we got there. Had to wear our coats for 2 hrs until the house heated up. Window air conditioners still in the windows. Cold air blew right thru them. Some even had 2 inch gaps between air conditioner n the window so house was cold. Outdoor temp was 16. No extra blankets. Not enough utensils for the number of beds. Would not recommend this house in the winter.

Cute log cabin

The beds were really comfortable and were exactly like they are stated in the listing. The Kitchen was stocked and easy to maneuver around. Property management was on point when a bear tore open the garbage from a previous tenant. I did not give it 5 stars because the downstairs bathroom needs to have ventilation for showers, along with a shower curtain liner and the window air conditioners should have been taken out of the windows (it got chilly). All in all I would stay there again, my family really liked the ambiance.

Had a lovely stay in a quaint but spacious cabin. We had enough room for everyone to have their own bed. It would be a lovely cabin to spend a snowy weekend in. Got to see deer out the back window.

Cute little cabin

Great fireplace inside. Property manager is via text only. Asked for a phone call but just got texts. Very clean and kitchen was well stocked. Super quiet at night and lots of wildlife right in the yard. Downstairs shower a bit confusing. Garage turned into game room so stays colder than the rest of the cabin. Overall, great experience considering other people who reserved for a different weekend were in the house when we arrived. Property manager got it straightened out but couldn't change the door code which was upsetting. Should change it after every guest for safety.

One of the "bedrooms" was a laundry room/hallway space between the game room and the rest of the house. So the end of the evening ment having to knock and go thru someone's room to get to your own. There was not enough silverware (3 spoons, a few knives and a box of plastic forks). There should be enough silverware, plates, and bowls for the number of people the house sleeps. The inside of the house was well cleaned, beds were all made, towels provided etc however the space between the windows and storm windows were filthy with bugs and cobwebs. Making looking outside or opening windows for fresh air kinda gross.

We enjoy our stay at your location. Very relaxing sitting around the fire pit or enjoying the hot tub. We were able to see an abundance of wildlife and even had fun playing some wiffle ball on the large property thank you for our wonderful visit

A week in August

The house has an updated, very nice kitchen. Indoor furnishings are nice. There are several issues however: 1) the home is listed as air conditioned - actually only the bedrooms are air conditioned; the main floor is not; 2) the outside needs a lot of work. The back porch, back porch furniture, and firepit furniture should be power washed. We didn't use any outside facilities since the dirt would soil our clothes; 3) I would recommend running several dehumidifiers around the home, especially in the game room; 4) Cleaners did not do a good job - there was leftover ice cream in the freezer and several personal items left behind; 5) We had to go out and purchase plastic utensils since there were not enough spoons, knives, etc. in the kitchen (probably prior renters took these items but it's something that should have been checked); 6) the upstairs shower stall was too small to fit the smallest adult in our group (I wonder what they were thinking when it was installed; 7) there is no access to Lake Harmony at all - anywhere. This should be stated on the website. Lake Harmony is 100% private - the only "public" beach is for members of Lake Harmony Estates homes (of which this house is not a member); 8) This is a general comment, but the condition of the roads in the communities surrounding the Lake (with the exception of Lake Harmony Road) are in abysmal condition. They're bad enough to cause flat tires if you're not careful or hit one of the many pot holes at night.

Little cabin in the woods

Although we had planned this last minute and really wanted to be on the water, this ended up being relaxing for all. The cabin had a very cozy feel and was very clean. Loved seeing the deer everyday. There were a couple of things that were disappointing - not enough utensils, no spatula, no griddle to make pancakes, the chairs around the fire pit were in poor condition(some actually broken), the light going upstairs flickered and the access to the lake was very misleading.
