My family, friends, and I had a great stay! The host was very communicative and worked with me around navigating a weekend snowstorm. Great location for skiing at Big Boulder and big enough for 8 adults to fit comfortably.

The property was great and conveniently located for snowboarding just down the road. We got a lot of snow while we were there and the roads were kept well enough for us all to get out without issue by the end of the stay! Everything on the property was great and Amy is a responsive host. Also very pet friendly. I would stay here again and recommend to friends.

Our extended family had a great time spending Thanksgiving together at this house. It’s easy to access from several directions and the area has plenty to offer. We enjoyed short walks through the neighborhood, hikes and trail runs at nearby Hickory Run State Park. A well-stocked market was within 10 minutes of the house to pick up a few forgotten items. The house was clean with a well-stocked kitchen, plenty of sleeping options, and a wood-burning fireplace. We enjoyed watching all the deer in the neighborhood. The host provided excellent communication before and during our stay. This mountain house was an excellent choice.

The property is great for a fall getaway. We had a wonderful time. Celebrated my mother’s 70th birthday. Three couples, two single members, and 6 kids. Had a total of 14 ppl. Positives, host was very responsive, the whole way. The downstairs was adorable- tv, arcade game and three rooms along with the upgraded bathroom and shower. Upstairs- open kitchen, access to upstairs patio, perfect to entertain. The rooms and beds were made up and clean- towels for all and extra blankets pillows in the closet. Hot tub was good. Plenty of parking. Had wildlife come up to the house and made it more amazing. Location to the places to eat and do things- great! There’s a supermarket/liquor store close by so that was helpful too. If we had to list some negatives that should really be addressed it’s the following. The listing for beds/rooms was kinda confusing with 5 bedrooms or 6, so we brought blow up mattresses in case. The pull out bed downstairs was pretty dirty when we opened, so no one slept on it. The upstairs loveseat was broken and there’s wood sticking out. The bbq needs to be replaced, in really rough shape, we handled it with tinfoil. The upstairs bathroom-small, slanted, and tight, needs a huge facelift, as the tub has huge rust stain from a drip- no one really used it, we used downstairs. Air conditioner was used during the day and started leaking so we turned it off.Overall we loved the weekend and plan on doing similar for years to come :) Thank you!

Beautiful country. House suited our family just fine. It was clean, but needs more maintenance. Sliding door screens ripped, some deck rail nails popping out and not sturdy. Fixture over dining room table did not work (some pieces wrapped in electrical tape). I would not recommend it for a family with small children. Also, not a good supply of bath or dish towels. We have stayed at other homes in the area, so I do not think we’ll book this one again.

Great girls get away!

We booked the place for my 50th birthday weekend. There were 10 ladies. The house was clean and in good condition. Everything you needed was available, including all the Kitchen basics and then some. we were close to all the area attractions and everyone slept comfortably. The host was great at answering all my questions and communicating. Any information that I needed. We are already thinking about going back next year.

Family Time

Overall the house was perfect for family. The kids spent most of their time downstairs while adults and big kids hung out upstairs. The large deck and large table inside was perfect for family style meals and everything was accurate to the listing. Property Manager was quick with responses and when we had a minor plumbing issue, it was remedied quickly. Great location in the mountains and nearby the lake.

Family Getaway

We all had a very good experience on this property. Everything was exactly as described and it accomodated our family of 11. We did not have any issues with the Wi-Fi, the water pressure or any of the appliances. Our host was on top of our needs. The location was ideal to great restaurants, very quiet and peaceful. Fun Nature Experience!

Our group of friends came to Lake Harmony for the weekend! We had a great time staying at the house and the amnetties were great! We had fun in the hot tub and had a fire in the fire pit. We even spent time getting new high score on the arcade machine! Everything we wanted was there including passes to go to the beach to swim! Nice place and great location! We saw a bear and a lot of deer!

Communication was poor from the beginning. We did a thorough check at the beginning and notified the host of damages, but the host still charged us for damages we did not cause. Overall cleanliness and condition at the time of arrival was poor. Communication is still lacking and no itemized list provided.

Great Visit!

I booked this house for my immediate and extended family, and it was exactly as described in the listing. The home was spotless and provided the perfect setting for relaxation and family fun. We especially enjoyed the wood-burning fireplace and the firepit in the side yard. If you don’t bring your own firewood, there’s a convenient spot just two miles away—just Google “firewood near me.”Another highlight was the retro arcade machine in the basement—my daughter couldn’t get enough of Frogger!A big thank you to the host for maintaining such a clean, welcoming property and ensuring a wonderful experience for our family.

Best Family Christmas Spot!

The Chalet was perfect for our family holiday. We had 4 kids under 8, so the separate rooms in the basement and upstairs really helped everyone get sleep, and the kids loved the arcade table and the hot tub! The location was great - nearby tubing, restaurants, and essentials stores in case you need anything. We also traveled a bit two of the days to visit science museums and the Crayola factory which the kids loved. Communication with Amy was a breeze, she set clear expectations for the property and checked in to make sure everything was going smoothly. Very sweet and answered all of our questions right away. I would highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a quiet getaway with your friends or family! We will definitely be back!

Great property!

As reviews stated previously the house is a lot smaller that we thought but still had plenty of space for everyone! Such a great property, we had some minor issues but overall great communication! Just a heads up Bring wash cloths/loofas as they are not provided with your towels. Lots of kitchen ware for cooking for large groups grill worked and hot tub was a wonderful spot to hang out in the evening. Beds were comfy, vibe was relaxing, beach was very close! I would stay again!
