Unfortunately, our experience did not meet the expectations set by the photos and descriptions provided online. Apparently each unit is privately owned??
While the room layout was acceptable, the overall condition was extremely dated. The appliances were old and poorly maintainedâmost notably, the microwave handle fell off when we attempted to use it, clearly having been patched together previously.
Additionally, our room was located far from the pool and lobby. Under normal circumstances, this might not have been an issue, but we were traveling with two young children, an elderly guest, and another who required assistance with a cane. The distance made it difficult for us to fully enjoy the amenities. On the second day of our stay, we requested a room change after noticing that other rooms appeared to be more modern and much better maintained. We were told that no rooms of our originally requested style were available. The front desk staff also mentioned that we had booked through Expedia, though it was unclear why that was relevant to our request. Regardless of the booking platform, we paid for accommodations that did not match what was advertised.
Management did not try to contact me at all during the stay even though they knew we were unsatisfied. We called front desk and wrote our âvirtual assistantâ. When we finally got a hold of mgt they offered discount on future stay⊠no thanks.
